"I had an excellent experience with Gulf Coast from beginning to end.  The salesman was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.  His manager, also, emailed me before and after pictures of jobs previously done, and answered further questions I had. They were very responsive to me anytime I called or emailed them.   I researched other companies and found that Gulf Coast had the best price.   The crew took out and replaced 14 windows in just four hours.  They were very pleasant and professional.  I highly recommend Gulf Coast Door & Windows.  You will get a great price coupled with very high quality...in both service and product!  I am very pleased!"

"This company is owned and run by "old school" professional people who do what they say they will do. Everyone from the office staff to the crew that did the work to the owner Greg McBride were wonderful to work with. I wish I had know about them 4 years ago and I would have used them for everything in and around my home. I trust them and will use them in the future."

Patios questions, answered by experts

You can start your search for a reputable patio company by finding providers in your area with positive ratings online and few, if any, complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Once you narrow down your search, contact the companies and ask for examples of their past work, as well as a list of references. The examples will show you the quality of the work you can expect and how professional the finished product will be, and contacting previous customers will give you an idea of the service you can expect throughout the process.

Yes, transforming a deck into a sunroom is an absolute possibility. Building a sunroom involves framing in the deck area with walls, adding windows, and affixing a roof. This project is not an easy task, but it does provide a stylish addition to your house. Not all deck designs support this type of renovation project, so consult a professional deck builder before beginning.

A covered deck can be a good investment that increases your home value—especially if you live in a hot region with a lot of sun. A covering over the deck means you can get more use out of it, even on the hottest summer days. With a permanent deck covering, you can even add ceiling fans to help cool down your deck for added comfort.

Whether a prefab sunroom is worth it will depend on each homeowner’s unique needs and preferences. Overall, prefab sunrooms are a wallet-friendly, speedy, and reliable option for individuals looking to get some vitamin D in a simply-designed yet sunny space. Not to mention, sunrooms can increase your home’s value and the enjoyment you feel at home.

A screened-in porch can add value to your home, but it won’t count toward the total square footage at an appraisal or when it comes time to sell. A screened-in porch is not fully enclosed, usable year-round, insulated, or heated or cooled, so it doesn’t meet the requirements of livable square footage in most locations.
