She was the one who recommended this facility. The fire displaced many low income families, however, many people in the community showed a lot of kindness in response.

There was a lot of blood in both.. I called ahead to Diamond animal hospital to let them know I was heading in with a very sick dog so we could expedite his check in. I was a client of the business, and they had regular files on all my pets. It was 5:38 am and we bundled our 13 lb. dog up in a blanket.
We arrived at Dimond Animal hospital. There was no cars in the parking lot, and no other customers inside. The place was like a morgue. We went inside, and no one had pulled the file on my pet. The receptionist didn't seem to have a clue, and appeared to be quite indifferent to what I had to say. We stood around waiting with our dog bundled in my wifes arms.
Finally, we were lead to a room, to wait for a vet. I told the vet the symptoms, and told them to thoroughly check the dog out, and get him stabilized. I also stated the cost was not an issue. The dog had lost blood and liquids, and was dehydrated. The vet, Dr. Jamie Merrigan, proceeded to tell us it was nothing to be concerned about, and seemed more interested in how to cut corners on the pet's treatment. It was like she didn't want to be bothered with caring for my pet. I might not be a vet, but the amount of blood from my dog was significant, and it had come out of both ends. I told the vet not to cut corners, to check out everything, that I was not concerned about $500 dollars or more in cost. I was trying to get the vet to expedite the process so the dog could get stabilized. I was hoping to let the vet take charge of the animal and begin treatment immediately, so that I could get out of the way, and go to the front reception area to pre-pay the bill and sign paperwork. Keep in mind I had called ahead, and given all the information, as the car warmed up, and my wife got dressed.
Instead the young Dr. Jamie Merrigan seemed reluctant to do anything for the animal, and actually became argumentative and snotty with my wife. Dr. Merrigan just could get through her head that I wanted a complete exam of my dog, and that the dog was very ill, and needed help immediately, and that I wanted to go up front to pre-pay my bill. I didn't need a lecture from Mrs. Merrigan.
However, Dr. Jamie Merrigan started being nasty with my wife when my wife tried to get her to take the dog and begin treatmeant. Dr. Jamie Merrigan stated, and quot;It wasn't that important.and quot; Dealing with Dr. Jamie Merrigan was like dealing with a petulant teenager that chooses not to hear a thing you have to say, and looks for something to get offended about.
There is no professionalism at Diamond animal hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. We left with our dog, and took him to another provider where he was immediately cared for. At the time of this post our dog is on an I.V. in intensive care recieving treatment. I pre-paid his bill at the other animal hospital for the amount of $1,511 dollars, and will gladly pay more to get him healthy. Gee.......Dr. Jamie Merrigan I guess the dog was sick. He should be out in about two days.
As we left Diamond Animal Hospital we asked for a contact number for the owner whom I have talked to in the past when I had brought my pets in for routine items. None of the young staff of three girls was forthcoming with a number (This includes Dr. Merrigan). It was totally unprofessional.

Excellent. 98% of pet stains were removed.
PP&C was wonderful! The owner answered all of our questions, let us know which days were best for cats and we settled on a date. My cat is very happy with her new 'do'! PP&C was very professional, and puts the welfare of the animal at the top of their list. We will go back in the event we...

DIY animal removal is rarely a good idea and is not advised for many reasons. First, these types of animals can carry diseases and, therefore, pose a health risk to you, your family, and your pets if mishandled. Second, depending on your city or municipality, it may be illegal to remove or handle wildlife yourself.
Sealing your home against these animals yourself is also a bad idea. Trapping an animal under your house will cause odor and insect problems when it passes away.
Pest control is not the same as animal removal. Pest control specialists treat for insects and bugs, often by using chemicals. Animal removal specialists try to avoid chemicals if possible and instead work to trap and move the animal that's causing problems.
Since each expert has their own removal methods, it's best to contact a pest control professional for insects and bugs and an animal control specialist for other animals.
Animal removal specialists specialize in removing critters and wildlife from in and around your home. These include:
Bats
Birds
Groundhogs
Moles and voles
Opossums
Mice and rats
Raccoons
Skunks
Squirrels
The specialist's method to remove these critters will depend on the animal. For example, groundhogs will be live-trapped and relocated, whereas, for birds, the expert will remove and discard the inactive nest and sanitize the area.
You might be tempted to call your local municipality to remove animals from your property, such as a groundhog burrowing in your yard or raccoons getting into your trash cans. However, they typically only remove domestic animals like dogs and cats from properties, or sick and injured wildlife that pose a public safety risk or health threat, such as a rabid animal. They typically do not capture or remove healthy wildlife.
Animal removal professionals have the tools, knowledge, and skills to trap and remove wild animals adequately and humanely. They also can relocate them correctly.
Professional animal removal costs between $200 and $600 for average homeowners. However, depending on the type and number of critters removed, this cost could range from $85 to $1,400.
This cost does not include the cost of home damage caused by the animal, which could be as low as $300 for minor drywall repair or as much as $15,000 for crawl space cleaning and restoration.
From average costs to expert advice, get all the answers you need to get your job done.
