  • Johnson's Tree Care Inc
Johnson's did a fantastic job removing four large pines between our house and the neighbor's. Kevin and the crew were punctual and polite. The crew was very methodical and safe, and they cleaned up well. Their price is very reasonable. We did our due diligence - checked references and insurance/liability

  • Johnson's Tree Care Inc
I required residential tree trimming which was relatively extensive for a one-house residence. Johnson's Tree Care was recommended to my by my sister and bro-in-law. I'd recently seen the consequences of "cheap" trimmers when adjacent neighbor's trimmers cut a power line and started a fire! Seriously. So I was in no mood for bargain quality work. It took a while, nearly two weeks, to get Kevin to get back to me but my persistence paid off. He came to the property that same day and had excellent advice and guidance on what needed to be done, in a couple of cases versus what I thought needed to be done. Within a couple of days, Kevin and his crew of three experienced trimmers were out to my house. Umberto has 26 years with JTC! His brother Horacio "only" 18 years and Jesus was the "rookie" with 13 years. Once instructed, they worked the latter half of one day and were back early the next morning for another 3 1/2 hours. When I had to advise or request something, Umberto always listened carefully and was engaging and responsive. (Communication quality is a thing with me.) They did great work and the clean up and foliage chipping was miraculous. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. These guys are the real deal

  • Johnson's Tree Care Inc
We have a large yard and have them come out every 2-3 years to trim and remove dead branches. Kevin and his team are easy to work with and the crew is very polite and does good quality work. Work was completed as quoted, in addition to some additional items taken care of at no extra charge. Team is professional and cleaned up everything before leaving. I will use them again on our next project

Tree climbers were professionally trained and skilled, work was fast and followed our requests, rates were reasonable considering current economy. I would hire him again and recommend him to anyone.

  • Cavara Tree Service
Castor and his team did a great job on my trees. A big Oak in the front yard about 35 feet and a small one the back yard about 25 feet. The trees seriously needed a good trimming due to Covid delaying the needed work for about 2 years. I am very happy with the work as it made the trees looked much healthier and also brought a lot more sunlight onto my yard. Castor is very accommodating and his prices are also very reasonable for the amount and quality they do. Will definitely use his services again next time I need tree work

  • Cavara Tree Service
We have lived at our address for over 40 years and have a variety of pine, oak, cedar and fruit trees. We have used a number of different tree service companies, but just worked with our favorite one, It is Cavara Tree Service, a family owned and run business. We had a timing deadline and Cavara brought extra personnel to insure that it got done on time. The end result was great. One large 70 year old dying pine removed, several trees trimmed, both for beauty enhancement and clearance of large branches away from the house and roof. All work was done exactly as we had discussed in detail with Castor, the main man (but others are also very important based on their skill set and skill levels) in preparation for the job. All shrubbery and flowers that were in an area of possible damage from debris were protected by plywood sheltering. The cleanup and removal of ALL debris was well done. We will definitely request their services again when needed

  • Fernandez Landscape & Masonry
Elmer showed up quickly to understand scope of work and gave a verbal bid right on the spot, followed up by a written proposal. His bid was less than half of the other two local companies. His crew cam just 2 days later to complete the job in 6 hours. Safe and very tidy. 2nd time I have used Fernandez. I highly recommend this company

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
