Didier Termignon trained with some of San Francisco’s best-known arborists before starting his own company in 1996. He is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, and a UC Berkeley-Certified Garden Designer. Fine Tree Care is San Francisco’s leading tree care service. They specialize in all forms of tree care, from diagnosing and curing sick trees (removing them ONLY if absolutely necessary), to pruning, shaping, and training trees for maximum aesthetic of the trees by themselves but also in relation to their surroundings. I wouldn't hire anybody else to do any work on my trees. I recommend him to anybody that needs this type of work. The artful work that he does on the trees is spectacular.

Didier was on time for initial expert consultation, and completed all the work as scheduled. His crew was courteous, considerate, finished in a few hours and left the area completely clean. We now have a beautifully trimmed willow and a fine new Brisbane Box tree.

I ended up needing to wait for my walnut tree to have its leaves for longer, so he did the estimate in June and came back in September. They completed all the work in one day. The trees look great and they hauled away all the debris. I'm very happy with the job they did. He did exactly what he said they would. I wasn't home during the work and I'm glad I was able to trust them to do good work without me having to be there. I will use them again when my trees need to be trimmed. I highly recommend them.

Didier determined the trees could not be saved because of root rot, which is what caused them to fall over. The two other bids we got said the same thing. Didier, however, gave me great detail over how I was overwatering, over mulching, how competing plants were getting too little water. It was an extremely valuable tutorial, something he did not need to do.
The next day he happened to be driving past our house and noticed gushing water from our irrigation system. He stopped, rang our bell and pointed it out.
His rates are already reasonable, however it's the extra care he takes which not only reveals his vast knowledge but also provides enormous value.

Excellent. Didier is a true artist. His work is impeccable and communication skills are superb. Came with his crew and all the equipment required, minimal disruption and very complete supervision. I'm very satisfied and enjoyed the interaction. He honored is quote to the penny. Don't forget to tip the workers.

We've been using him for a while. Does good work. A little expensive but that's the only drawback. If our stupid Pittosporum didn't grow so fast, I wouldn't complain about the price... but the price is fair and the quality is good. I'm happy enough with his services that I don't feel a need to find someone else to do it.
I've seen other tree pruners on our street and they just butcher the trees. Didier is artistic and he directs his people to make the tree look really nice.

job was contracted with my neighbor to remove two trees that had thrips and prune two more trees the price above is my share they were punctual and very efficient they cleaned up exceptionally well and the trees made a large mess Didier was informative and is knowledgeable as an arborist I am pleased with the result of their work

Didiier did an amazing job of pruning our Holly Tree. The tree had not been pruned in more than 5 years and it was a dangled mess. We needed to prune it for some upcoming work in our backyard. When Didier and team were done the Holly tree was really thinned out and it looked great. It gave us so much more open space than I had imagined we could get. They also cut down a plum tree and took out its roots. A very professional job, at a reasonable rate and down in a good timeframe

When I first called he explained it would be best if I waited for the tree to be done blooming before pruning and that way I could avoid some of the shoots it was putting up all the time. No other guy had bothered to tell me that! So I called him back a few months later and he did a great job. It didn't look like it got hacked just a very good job preserving the size of the tree but definitely opening it up for more sun to come in my garden. Highly recommend.

Didier is in a league of his own. We have a lot of trees in the front and back of our home, and over the years we've worked with most, if not all, of the well known arborists. His knowledge alone distinguished him from the other bids we were considering. He has a great aesthetic, was easy and professional to work with, and reasonably priced. I'd call him again in a heartbeat, and plan to.

He trimmed, shaped, and removed trees with the assistance of a staff of intelligent, knowledgeable employees. They worked efficiently and responded to my suggestions without resistance. They started at 8:00 AM and worked without power tools, thereby eliminating concern about neighbor complaints.They windowed and trimmed trees that were casting deep shade, advised retaining tree I planned to remove and pruned a hugh Buegenvilla .When they had completed the job they cleaned up immaculately.

I spent about $2500 on that service. They were on time and we had several bids and they came in at a good price. They did a really good job and were thorough, neat, and not messy. They were also efficient. I would give them a top-notch grading. Their pricing was as good as anybody else.
