  When Israel came to review the job, he asked me when the last furnace cleaning/servicing took place. Er, ah,it was the year or two after it was installed. Well, duh, this was a big no-no. The blades of the air unit, the fan, the motor was just caked with dust that inevitably gets thru the filters. So....I had him do a full service and cleaning. Then the ducts. And he filled that shop vac with gunk. I have confidence in his evaluation and work. It wasn’t cheap, hence the slightly lower score above in a couple of categories, but....it was essential to the health of the family and expensive furnace!   Great. They came out within three days of requesting the quote. Quickly assessed the problem (same as another company did but in 1/5 of the time) explained the problem and solutions, quoted me a price that was 2k less than the other company while also doing more work. I wound up deciding to go with about half of the work (it all needs to be done but I can do alot of things myself), and they worked with me to make that possible. By the time all was said and done it was completed in a 1/3 of the time, for half the money, with more work done, than the other company I quoted, all with the exact same warranties in place. Couldn't be happier and will definitely call them again if I need any more work done

  I like to have my carpets cleaned once a year and for the last at least 6-7 years have only used COIT. Ok, I lie, I used Stanley Steamer once when I in a pinch and couldn't get a time slot in time for my event, but my preference is COIT. I live in the Bay Area....my luck, the first time COIT cleaned my carpets they sent Martin out and I've requested him only ever since! Martin is professional, courteous and efficient! I have a small space with carpet, maybe 600 feet. There's a standard base that you will need to pay no matter how small of an area (not sure if that dollar amount varies from location to location), I don't qualify for any discounts and yes, the price does keep going up but that's to be expected. And I'll pay for it since I don't think I can get the same result and I'm not willing to try. Martin is usually here for not even 30 minutes tops and always manages to arrive early. So be prepared! On another note, I can imagine that good workers might be hard to find in this industry. Let's be brutally honest, would you choose to be a carpet cleaner as your profession? Hopefully their managers are treating them well at the least. These people are lugging equipment, coming into your personal space and providing a service. A service that you don't want to do yourself. Be kind. They are only the messenger

  I am very satisfied with the work performed by Element Home Solutions. The subject 1920's dwelling was void of insulation. Carlos conducted the estimate professionally, answered my questions and provided opinions. Manuel and Freddy were crew liaisons and responded promptly to my queries during the job. They laid and hung plastic to contain dust and vacuumed thoroughly afterwards. They vacuumed roof gravel from the attic, which had fallen from the removal of a tar and gravel roof decades ago. They sanitized and sealed air gaps prior to installing the attic insulation. Crawlspace air gaps were sealed and the insulation installed with straps to hold it in place, which provide much better support than wire rods. The job took two days and they left the area clean of debris. I will use them for another property in the future
