Mr. Scuddy's experience and expertise shows in his work. We definitely plan to use him again and we feel that we have found a truly trustworthy and reliable master craftsman

The material was ordered and it took about two weeks for the work to be completed. On picking them up, I was absolutely amazed at the results. Special features (air vents and snap holders to keep the cushions from sliding off the chairs and putting stress on the seams) were added and the stitching and manner of construction were just outstanding. The value of the two chairs was probably tripled

He was here tonight with the rocker/recliner right when he said he would be and I am so pleased with the little extras he did. He made covers for the arms, back and the foot rest. "Had a relatively easy job--two cabinet doors were broken and needed to be reglued--not a big deal but was told that it would take 2-3 weeks to get it done because they were backed up. I was fine with that although the estimate was a bit high ($45 per door)--the quality of their work is always quite good and so that's what you pay for. At the 2 1/2 week mark I hadn't heard back--called and left two messages without a response At the 3 week mark I finally went to the store and just picked up my doors and took them elsewhere--the owner had no problem with that A good businessman would have realized this was a quick job and would have put one of his people on it and told me to come back the next day--make it right by a repeat customer who has waited 3 weeks for a simple job Used to be a good company and they have always done a fine job to their credit but this was not handled properly at all

"I took the chair to Frank's store, he measured and told me the amount of fabric I would need to order. He offered to restain the chair legs, but I planned to use a master finisher. He offered to show me what he had in stock, but I had already picked the fabric at a fabric store. Frank recommended I view the fabric once he received it to insure it was correct. He also recommended extra padding and reinforcement as it was an old chair and factored this into the cost. He stated it would take ~2 weeks, which it did once the fabric was received. When it was ready, he called and gave me options for pickup times.
