We recently completed an extensive renovation on our 1960’s home, which included a large addition. The lot is large, with established trees, but also has some challenges with a mixture of sun, shade, previous plantings, drainage, etc. The yard was basically a clean slate, and we wanted a landscape company that offered full services ranging from design, irrigation, lawn, beds, hardscape, fence, and lighting. Blake worked with us during our renovation to plan out the design and answered questions about drainage and irrigation during our construction. It was very helpful to be able to plan ahead for the yard while contractors, plumbers, and electricians were here working. He listened to our ideas about the history of our trees and some plants that we wanted to keep, plus all the new plants we were interested in. Blake was always very responsive and answered all of our questions while giving us suggestions and options for some unique places in our yard. He is very knowledgeable about this region and what plants can grow in sun, shade, wet areas, etc. Blake and his crew made this a very positive experience and we have a beautiful yard to complement our new home

"We obtained several bids for the large project. His price was reasonable and was significantly lower. Robert accepted the job and gave us a date to begin and length of project. Robert and his crew were on time each day, worked very hard and completed the project on time. He was gracious to accept the additional work of sodding the area. We were extremely pleased with the finish project which demonstrated his expertise and professionalism. We communicated with him through text and his responses were timely and always answered any of our questions and request.
Robert was extremely easy to work with and it was evident he strives to meet the needs of his clients and excellent results. I can’t say enough how pleased we were with the finished project. I highly recommend Robert based on our experience with him and the beautiful results. We are so appreciative.

"On day one, a large red oak(part of a V shaped tree) uprooted and fell on the lots, roof and fencing of two of my neighbors as well as my own, creating an emergency. I called Jon Chalker at Alamo City Arbor Care. He came immediately. He rescheduled other work and put two crews on the job. They did a super job and minimized damage to roof and fencing. Mr Chalker, a certified arborist, determined that the second tree(the two shared a root system) had been destabilized and needed to come down also. This tree was a monster(about 36"base) He came the second day with two crews and his crane. He had to coordinate with 4 homeowners to do the work. A metal and wooden fence had to be cut and replaced. All were happy when the work was done to include the woman in whose yard the crane was placed. The job took two days to complete. The workers were professional and courteous. Given the complexity of the job it was a miracle that nothing went wrong. I have never been more impressed with any other vendor. The work area was very dense with garden homes so acess was difficult. That the work was completed with no damage or accidents attests to the skill of his crews. Not even a sprinkler head was broken. I am convinced that these guys could handle anything.

"We are delighted with Mike Freeman and his crew. He is professional, knowledgeable and dependable. Mike helped us put our thoughts into action, created a large and beautiful garden and also planted four trees. His crew also installed a small fence and gate on the side of the house and the cleanup was 100%. Highly recommend.
We do all types of brick work and stone work from bricking your new home or repairing your existing home. We can also install outside fireplaces and grills ,planters around your flower beds and retaining walls. We are a small four man crew that is family owned and operated.
"Out of three, Rusty Hill was the only mason I called who answered his phone. I left multiple messages with two others and never heard back. Rusty came out and gave me an estimate, told me how long it would take him to fix it, and how he would do it. I hired him a week later when I was unable to get a response from any other masons. He contacted me a few days later to set up the day to start the work. On the day arranged, he and his crew showed up on time and went right to work. Rusty kept me informed as the work went along, and indulged my interest in coming up on the roof and observing the process. He explained everything he did and came and got me when the new cap was on so that I could see it before they removed the scaffolding. The job was finished in two days, as Rusty had promised, came in under the estimate he gave me, and I did not have to pay him a penny until the job was done and I was happy with it. In addition, he cleaned my gutters and he and the crew left the patio in better condition than it was in when they started, cleaning up everything. The roof was well-protected throughout the entire job, and cleaned at the end of it as well. All in all, the best kind of experience with a tradesman.
