  I can't praise this company enough! Jerry swooped in on a botched disaster of a job. Oasis quickly and professionally repaired a destroyed irrigation system covering over an acre. They did their own surveying and engineering, created an authentic French parterre garden landscape complete with lighting, masonry and hundreds of hydrangeas, stairs leading to a allee of pleached European Hornbeams and garden statuary that would make the king of France jealous. He did this all without plans and with the kindest most friendly crew you could imagine. As I said he is a genius, very fast and fair on priceshow more

  Sadly, in the future, I would look to the other option in my area (there are only two). I will say Fitz's has improved. A few years ago it was impossible to get a call back from anyone. They seem to have hired more folks in the office and they are now much more responsive and always courteous. In 2021 they scheduled me for the spring, never did the cleaning, and when I called in late summer they admitted that they had simply forgot. Huh?? They did refund me 20% for that. So..............the cleaning finally occurred in 2022. How did it go.......... Cleaning itself was fine, but the biggest issue is they caused a leak. For months after the leak continued, and when they finally (only partially) fixed the problem they charged me for it. I spoke to them on the phone several times with an acknowledgement that it was odd to pay for a problem they created, yet continued to invoice me for $250. Nuts. In addition some of their services are through-the-roof expensive. When they cleaned, they thought my pump was broken and piled the pump and filter on the lawn. They sent me a quote to replace the pump for $900+ dollars. I found my same pump at Lowes for approx $125. Thankfully before I bought it I discovered my pump wasn't actually broken, but the fuse on the outlet was blown. Sadly, in removing everything and piling it on the lawn the caused a disruption in my filter, so I then had that added expense. So in the end while the pond was temporarily clean, and they did refund me 20% for "forgetting" to clean it in 2021, I incurred additional charges for a leak they created and a filter they broke. I would look elsewhere........they're not very diligent in their workshow more

  After the initial contract almost 10 years ago, we almost annually have Schumacher Associates back to add a new feature to our landscape. I am a former tree surgeon, active gardener, someone who pays a lot of attention to detail and I demand quality work. I am consistently pleased with the finished product of Schumacher Associates. At this point, I am not getting competetive bids as I trust Schumacher Associates to price their work fairly. You are never nickeled and dimed and they stand behind their work. Jeff Schumacher is a true professional. His crew is honest and respectful of our home and property. We enjoy having them work for us and look forward to inviting them back year after yearshow more

  Mark inherited a home owner at the mercy of a nightmare contractor. He came in and evaluated the project thoroughly. He picked up where the last contractor left off and fixed his problems. Mark completed the job in 3-4 weeks. He did more in 3-4 weeks than the last contractor did in two months. He helped guide us through the process and constantly updated us on what was left to be done. The project was a full conversion from a one family to a two family. Mark is professional, punctual and efficient. He had a team of guys working on various different parts of the house at once. His team is filled with problem solvers who do great work. You can tell they have done it countless times. Everything is done to the T and I am grateful Mark took the job considering other contractors were scared to pick up from where another contractor left off. I felt comfortable going to work knowing things would get done correctly. He also threw in ceiling molding free of charge which completely transformed the interior. I would give 11 out of 10 stars if I could. I added some pictures to show some of his work. Some pictures are during the process and some after.   I called Carl Bongiorno, a family owned company, and received a call back the same day. We set up an appointment where he could come and see my yard. Carl was punctual, very pleasant, and responsive to my needs. I had two small projects; one being a straightforward project of an approximate 6' x 6' paver pad. The other job required a little more creativeness. I had a rough idea what I wanted and Carl was able to envision and understand what I looking for and was able to design a very lovely focal point for my yard.Whenever I have any work done I always get at least three estimates. Carl Bongiorno was not the lowest, but was not the highest either. He came right in the middle. I chose Carl Bongiorno because of his past reviews, responsiveness to my needs, and quality workmanship . I was very pleased with my choice. To my surprise they were able to do the work on a few of our warmer winter days. They were always punctual, friendly, and professional. What a difference the paver pad is from what was there previously! And my new bluestone patio is a beautiful focal point to my garden. I only had one issue which Carl rectified immediately. Unfortunately, the weight of the truck caused a large crack in my 3-year old black topped driveway. I got an estimate for the repair and Carl deducted it from my bill. He also stated that if I had problems with the repair to call him. Unfortunate events are impossible to predict, but I was pleased with the way Carl handled it. I am so glad I chose Carl. He does high quality work, is professional and very pleasant to deal with. But,above all Carl Bongiorno has integrity, He is honest and reliable. I definitely would recommend himshow more

  While Aaron was not able to perform the extensive rebuild we needed because it was beyond his scope, he gave us a ball park number of the expensive for a job this magnitude. He explained how the foundation wall would be repaired/replaced and spent an hour answering all of ur questions. Even though we were not able to hire him for this particular job, we plan on using him for future projects. It was a breath of fresh air to meet a contractor who was responsive, honest, and took the time to meet with us even though he knew no work was coming out of it for his benefitshow more

  On The Spot was great; from the initial estimate to the finish. The design consultant was very understanding of my schedule since I work in NYC, so he would meet me at 9:00 PM at night or on Sundays at my request. I started my first project with them just doing roofing and siding, which came out great. Their pricing was better then the other estimates I got for what they are offering. After that work came out to my satisfaction I decided to use them on an addition project, which also included remodeling my kitchen, etc. I gave them my budget and they came up with a computer 3d design that showed me everything that was going to be done, something other companies didn't offer. From start to finish, from selecting material to installing material, On The Spot was very helpful and always there on time. The project manager was very helpful as well.   Work commenced one week late due to Hurricane Sandy, but this did not effect the overall project timing. We had used CLC four years prior on the installation of an above ground pool and related landscaping. All their own staff and the contractors used for decking and electrical work were exceedingly hardworking and highly professional. We were particularly pleased with their recommended coping stone and decking solution, including the cantilevered design that takes the deck just over the edge of the pool. There were no snags and work was completed on time and within budget and to a high quality.   From start to finish, Don was a pleasure to work with. He is professional, reliable and knowledgeable. Unlike the other companies I talked with, Don was willing (and enthusiastic) about doing the job that I wanted done, for a reasonable price and getting it done when I needed it. The others were very locked into their own approach and design, and not interested in my needs or budget. Don was able to get a good sense of what I was looking for, and was totally focused on meeting my needs from beginning to end. In fact, Don created more work for himself at various times throughout the project, as he came up with ideas to improve the look and functionality of the pond (and he did this while keeping the price the same). I was very particular about what I wanted and insisted on being present during the project, which does not make things easier for any contractor, but Don made it work and the result is fantastic - far better than I had originally envisioned!
