This is the second house that I have used this company to replace a roof. All the workers are very professional and Ken was great to work with. He worked with my insurance company and kept me informed the whole time. Will probably use again for my next house :)

It was awesome! Very Professional and helpful in understanding what was to be repaired. And, worked great with my insurance company on the claim. David Votava,Project Manager was referred to me by family members that had contracted with Jon Industries from the Irving area and Frisco area. This is what I wanted. Someone that knew what was needed and highest quality of work and ethics. David was so patient in going over all the submissions to my insurance company and coordinating every job. Each contractor was under his watch and David returned to make sure each repair was complete and to my satisfaction. Thank you David for a great job! He even showed me how to reduce my home insurance by 26% and increase the value of my home by 6%. Cannot thank you enough for the time and great service you provided

Eric is the best! I chose Jon Wright roofing because i was impressed with the attention he paid to attic ventilation and the security of having a GAF Master Elite rating. I called them and spoke with Jon himself and he was most gracious with his time answering any question and he sent Eric Oesch to be here when the insurance adjuster was evaluating the roof. Eric turned out to be a great person to work with throughout the entire project. I had wanted to do a really nice roof this time because I did not want to have to worry about roofing again for a very long time. Eric helped me determine which upgrades were worth the money and what features were the best bang for the buck and provide a long lasting leak free roof. As i said i like Jon wright for attention to ventilation but I highly suggest using the radiant barrier decking. The ventilation helps a lot to keep the temp of the attic down but the radiant barrier gives it that 1-2 punch that really does the job I have already felt a huge difference in the attic temp and the comfort level of the house in this 100 degree heat. I have also noticed about a least a 100.00 drop in the electric bill a month. When i used to go in the garage to get in my car i would almost suffocate from the heat, now it is very comfortable. The roof is beautiful and leak free and was hand nailed. The crews were very good, efficient and cleaned up after the job very well. The staff at Jon Wright were very friendly and helpful and if you can catch him between his world travels I highly suggest you work with Eric Oesch. His knowledge and attention to doing what it takes to make the customer happy is most important when involved in a project like this. I would like to thank them for a job well done and am sure i will be enjoying their work for a long time to come. Scott Alsu

I am going to sound like a marketing guy for Jon Wright Roofing and for this I can only say one thing - he and my contact, Rob Ross, are two of the most honest and integrity-filled guys in the DFW area for roofing. Jon may very well have the best rep in Dallas for putting on a great roof, standing behind his work, and employing guys who honestly want you to have the best roof possible. It will cost for the upgrades and for the warranty - but if you can afford it, do it. I took about 50 pics and some videos (with permission) to document the experience. I work for a bunch of Neurosurgeons and I have learned to document everything because otherwise you can't learn from mistakes or teach properly. Here you go: After all the insurance wrangling (roof replacement due to hail damage) and quotes and selecting the upgrades (I did ask Jon Wright to come out to meet him personally - he is very passionate about his profession and doing the right thing), my roofing adviser, Rob Ross took care of the process from start to finish. 7 am: the roofing team has assembled at my house and begin tearing the existing roof down, they are working like dogs and I can hear the old shingles slide down my living room's roof to the backyard. 10 am: i hear this truck worm its way into my alley and I go outside to receive a bunch of shingles, storm guard underlayment, flashing, radiant barrier, nails, and vents. This is a huge load delivered by a flat-bed truck that lifts and slowly drops! 10:30: the team is pulling out the old plywood roof and throwing them onto the shingle pile. I am looking at a pic of this and see long staples sticking out every foot. Not a great thing to see, I would have preferred seeing nails. 2 pm: they have removed and replaced almost all of the plywood and replaced it with individually cut radiant barrier - one guy shouting the dimensions and another guy cutting. These guys are experienced. Now they are laying down the GAF Armor Guard synthetic material in place of regular felt. It doesn't have wrinkles and it is tight and perfect. Next they place boxes of shingles every 3 or 4 feet. 4 pm: the team has picked their staring point for the roof shingles and have started hammering - 3 guys are putting the shingles on from the bottom in a stair-step pattern - this is important so you don't get a moire pattern on your roof! 6 pm: the dumpster has arrived and the big pile of old shingles and plywood are unceremoniously thrown in. It is filled shortly to the brim. I found a piece of shingle (after the final trash pick-up) no bigger than a silver dollar that was left over - amazing! 7 pm: Rob drops off some insulation to be blown into the master bedroom for tomorrow - the guys are going to leave that part of the roof until then alone. Rob and Jon (with a few experts thrown-in) have determined how to fix a particularly vexing problem that I have in my house - it is hotter than anything in the master and come to find out - there is no venting for that room. 7 am next day: Rob comes and personally loads the insulation blower machine and fills the master br with attic insulation (R49) before the radiant barrier over the master is started. He inspects and re-inspects and is happy with the result. He also guides the team into where and how the new and improved venting should be placed and nailed. 4 pm: The guys are finished with the roof - it looks fabulous and the house is very appreciative because it can breathe now. Everything has gone to plan and we will get the gutters installed next week. The big dumpster is still here and I have heard that it is going to be in my driveway for a couple of days. I call Jon Wright personally to get this taken care of because he is forced to use a Plano contractor for this part. After talking with him, the dumpster is removed the next day. Gutters: the following week, Rob came out and (he actually was at my house checking and rechecking before, during and after the install making sure everything was handled correctly and he really was present and active and authoritative) talked with me about the gutters. I told him what color (from samples) and then I told him that I was going to (eventually) put a pool in the back yard. He helped re-site the downspouts and now I have only one downspout in the backyard! Perfect for when the pool gets here - no additional underground piping necessary. It looks great, too! Ok, I am running out of time - so here is the bottom-line: Jon Wright Roofing is hands-down the best roofer, the best GAF-certified roofer in Dallas and maybe the country. I expect my new roof to give me years of service and with this crazy Texas weather, I am self-assured that me and my family made the right choice, the right investment - see, I sound like a marketing guy

Ryan did a great job as the Project Manager. He had to make several trips to meet with my insurance company and was very professional in all interactions. They were efficient and timely in replacing the roof. Ryan also recommended to great turbines for the ventilation of the attic. The roof looks great and I would highly recommend Jon Wright Roofing for any roof replacements or repair

The project manager was at our home prior to the materials delivery, made sure that we would not have any blocked in vehicles, pets were kept inside, they had requested that we turn off our sprinkler system a couple of days in advance, protected our outside HVAC unit, placed tarps on the ground to catch any errant debris, cleaned up the joist at the end of each day, didn't play loud music and were mindful of our neighbors. They were very pleasant, clean and professional. The price was fair and our insurance company said we had an excellent roofing crew. Afterwards they replaced our gutters, leaf guards and increased the downspout size. They completed the work without a hitch, on schedule and without a single complaint

Edgar Vazquez was the Service Manager. The service was provided in accordance with the insurance estimate. They stripped off the old roof and felt. Inspected the wood and replaced all damaged wood. Reinstalled the felt. Installed a GAF hail resistant shingles using four nails per shingle. Used starter shingles, new metal trim, installed vent turbans, and replaced damaged vent pipes. The hail damaged the window shutters on the front of the house so they replaced them with a matching style and color. Some window screens were damaged and they were replaced. The clean up was very good. The shingle delivery vehicle (not Jon Wright's vehicle) damaged two sprinkler heads during the delivery. Jon Wright replaced both heads at his cost. I requested a specific week when I wanted the work done (almost a month out) and they scheduled the job as requested. No payment up front, they asked for 50% upon delivery of the materials (which was the day they started work), the balance was paid after the work was fully completed, clean up completed, and after they came back and fixed the sprinkler heads. Roof looks good. Liked the GAF materials. Crew presented no issues. Service Manage was on sight several times a day and followed up with me often. Overall I was very satisfied with how the job was done and the results. Would use them again

Great job all around. Roof, Gutters & Fence & Windows look great. A couple of things about Jon Wright Industries and the reasons I chose them are: 1) They inspected my attic. JWI was the only contractor that said they needed to go into my attic. In the attic they noticed that the soffit vents and gable end vents I have on my home were not allowing any air into my attic. That was the reason my attic was so hot. I purchased solar powered power vents which they installed facing south. I mention that because they pointed out to me that my neighbors roof has solar powered vents with the solar element facing north where the sunlight can not get to it. 2) They assured me (and followed through) that they were going to remove all the material on my roof including the old felt, valley material, drip edge, etc. 3) They cleaned up every day. Our roof was under construction during the Thanksgiving Holiday. I had 20 family members over that for Thanksgiving, and if you had not noticed the material yet to be used, then you would not have even known any construction was going on. 4) Scott my sales person kept me informed throughout and responded to emails right away. 5) Jon came out to inspect the completed work. 6) I was able to purchase a better warranty called a GAF Golden Pledge Warranty that most contractors can not even offer. It gives my 50 years of non-prorated coverage for the materials and labor if anything goes wrong. 7) The managed the entire project and provided one fair quote for all the work including the gutters, fence & windows. They sold me some upgrades that I am glad I purchased even though it was tough to part with the cash. Now that its complete, I am glad I did it

Jordan was a joy to work with. He is friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I was impressed from the first moment he came out to give us a quote on replacing our 11 window screens. He was even willing to work with us in using special green guard certified screens instead. We hired him and he did a beautiful job. Happy customer
