We set up an appointment, the installers arrived promptly and installed the security film in less than 2 hours. They cleaned up after themselves and my windows look great. I would recommend Solartex to anyone who may have a large glass window or glass door and wants some peace of mind

I had started out looking at window blinds with another company, but realized this option would be much less expensive and would not impede the views, which I love. The first round of installation had some complications, which the rep was expedient about addressing. Apparently there had been an issue with the product, so they reapplied film to the two windows that had problems. Then, once I realized how great the result was, I added two more windows. At all times it was clear to me that my satisfaction--with the product and with the process--was the number one priority of this company

- QUALITY WINDOW TINTWhen I first called two months ago for my 9-21-11 appointment, I did so on the recommendation of the auto dealer from whom I had purchased my new vehicle. Because of the nature of my profession (physician), I needed to have a specific time to have my windows tinted and the soonest they had available was the 9-21-11 date. I discovered two days before the appointment that my work schedule was changed and I called the establishment four times during their morning business hours and each time got only a voice message; so, I left a message asking them to call me today. By late afternoon, I had not received a call; so, I drove the 30 minutes to their site so I could ask my questions (because I thought my vehicles windows might not be amenable to the tinting) and, if my windows were indeed "tintable", I would need to change my appointment. When I arrived at 4:30PM, a hour before their advertised closing time, I found the business empty and the door was locked. No message was found on the door to explain the situation. I decided then that, if they could be considerate enough to leave a message on their answering machine or on their front door, explaining this bizarre situation, I did not need to have do business with them

The service provider did an excellent job. It took him quite a while to get the film completely removed, while standing on a ladder. My husband and I were glad that we hadn't tried to tackle the job ourselves! He was very neat and cleaned up completely. We thought $120 was a very fair price for the work involved. Would definitely recommend.

"I'm sorry to say that I don't remember his name. He was very responsive to my email and set an appointment very quickly. He arrived on time and gave a quote almost exactly to the amount of the other company (that I choose). However, he would not sit down and talk with me even after I asked him to. He stood at my dining table leaning over a chair to write out the estimate. He seemed too rushed. This company might have done fine work but the sales rep's not taking time with me for the estimate, put me off.
