Fantastic! I couldn’t have dreamed of a better experience! Diana is EXCELLENT at every stage of the design process. From paint color (perfect shade every time!), accessories that didn’t break the bank, furniture with knock out fabrics, colors, designs & beautiful window treatments and was on time, under budget, and always followed up with delivery and placement of furniture! She has the BEST eye for paint color and we love all the light fixtures! We worked with Diana on 3 separate projects. We tackled the dining room (adding wainscoating, chandelier, beautiful dining room table, amazing hutch, custom upholstered chairs and artwork), kitchen table and barstools, & bonus room all at once. We painted nearly every room in the house and it made such a wonderful difference. We had never had a formal dining room before and we just LOVE it for special family celebrations. She captured our style perfectly. I can’t imagine what our home looked like before because she helped us pick out furniture in nearly every room, and carpet and rug selections too! We loved EVERY detail and did not regret a single purchase! That’s huge for us because we had always tried doing it ourselves but didn’t quite capture the look or left things undone. This is why I highly recommend Diana! She listened to our ideas and how we use the space or would like to use the space and then went to town! Literally! She gives you the option to go shopping with her or she can pick out things and share fabric samples and photos. Every major purchase she selected 3 items and we chose which one we liked best. Sometimes we would combine two ideas to come up with a final selection. This was key. There are so many options and she narrowed it down and gave her professional opinion and explained how it fit the space well and why. Also assuring it’s a design that isn’t going away and we will get many years out of it. These are classic timeless pieces. We then moved onto the kitchen and bonus room. What I love about the tables is they’re indestructible and the chairs are all upholstered with sunbrella fabric which is stain proof. No joke! We love doing puzzles and created a game table/Lego/puzzle table for the bonus room. It’s our favorite room in the house. Area rugs defined every space and we just love them! Makes such a huge difference! We also redid the basement with carpet and paint and a fantastic entertainment center complete with barn doors. We also created a sports area in the basement where Diana and her assistant spent the day hanging all kinds of sports memorabilia around the bar and it turned out fantastic. I would’ve never figured out how and where hang all the cool stuff we have collected over the years and incorporated all our OHIO poses from our vacations over the past couple decades. We tackled the MBR next and made a cool mom den for reading and journaling. We all love the space and conversations in the kids favorite spinny chair and a chase lounge. We selected sconces, ceiling fan, 2 chandeliers and 2 over the sink light fixtures for the owners suite. Linens, rugs, paint color again, fabric for window treatments-it all turned out beautifully. We just love it. Who would’ve known how much time we were all going to be spending in our home during the last couple years with Covid. We are so thankful to have worked with Diana. I would ask to work with her again. We have one bathroom reno and exterior house painting left to do this spring. I know she’ll knock it out of the park

Very well. Good eye for color. Was willing to work with furniture pieces we currently have in determining wall colors. Worked well in combining two different styles and colors for a cohesive look.

Diana helped me choose colors for several rooms and carpet for both floors of our home. She also suggested some design choices and recommendations for contractors to install rugs and paint. She was extremely responsive, punctual and professional. I was very happy to have her help.

  • Annie Miller Designs
Annie is a talented designer and was pleasant to work with. I wanted to write a positive review. However, I am extremely disappointed by the quality of the cabinets that she sold us. We had originally agreed on maple cabinets but, based on the colors we chose, the cabinets listed on our final contract were changed to Poplar. I asked about the quality and durability of poplar cabinets and Annie assured us that they were high quality. Some of the drawer fronts arrived already scratched. Those were replaced, but one year into our kitchen renovation every single cabinet door and drawer face has been marred and gauged. The wood is so soft it can be scratched by a fingernail or plastic utensil. The larger pantry doors have bowed and no longer close fully. The moulding has pulled away from the ceiling and all the toe boards have detached. The hinge screws have backed out and stripped the poplar wood holes. When we told Annie about these issues a few months after the remodel was complete, she sent the regional Aspect representative to look at the damage. His explanation was, “Well, they’re not high-end cabinets,” and referred us to a furniture restoration company, recommending they come and refinish the cabinets every few years. He also shoved some toothpicks into the stripped hinges and screwed them back together. These poplar cabinets are of the quality that someone might use to flip a house, but not to live in. We are extremely stressed out by this kitchen. Imagine having to constantly tell the kids not to touch the drawers or even play in the kitchen for fear of another scratch or gauge. But it’s no use – every single time something touches a cabinet it leaves a dent. There is no resolution at this point, since cabinets are so central to the kitchen, and replacing them again would mean we need to replace countertops and everything else. So, we had a complete kitchen remodel and with disposable, cheap cabinetry. Part of this is my fault for not doing cabinet research myself, but the reason we hired a designer was so they would do this kind of research for us. We are extremely disappointed. Annie’s contractor, Tom McCane, left a lot of unfinished work. Once the hardwood floors were installed, the door frames no longer met the flooring. He claimed to not have time to replace the frames. The ductwork vents he installed were the wrong color so he suggested we buy some spray paint and spray them to match. All of the cabinet toe boards have detached. The drawer sides are scratched because of improper installation of the drawer rails. He removed 4” crown moulding around the fireplace and replaced it with a 1” flat strip of wood. Overall it was rushed and sloppy, and when we would request he fix anything, there was a significant upcharge. We would not recommend using this company unless you are doing a quick flip of a house you don’t plan to live in
