Dan has been a full-time professional writer in the home and solar industries for over three years. There’s nothing he enjoys more than helping fellow homeowners make their renovation dreams a reality. With a passion for clean energy and DIY, he also shares his experience with home solar systems and guides readers toward being more self-sustainable.

He got his Master’s Degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from Hofstra University in New York, which sparked his love of writing. He then combined that with his passion for and experience in real estate. He’s an avid DIYer and woodworker and has built most of the furniture and carried out the majority of repairs in his primary home and his investment properties in upstate New York.
