I asked this contractor to send me a quote. Instead, they insisted that I be there, and now I know why. I got the hard sell and unfortunately, did not have the other estimates I had asked for yet. Like a fool, I fell for this hard sell instead of waiting for my other estimates to come in. I didnt know about the 3 day rescission period until it was too late. I threw 3200$ down the drain, as I could have gotten the same job done by a top rated roofer (Signature, as rated in Washington Consumer Checkbook) for 3200 less. I was told, and quot;if you dont take this deal now (friday), this price will not be available on Monday. But both before and after, I kept hearing their commercials on radio... and quot;we have dropped our prices 40%, yes, even 50% to meet our competitorsand quot;. This was the worst and most costly financial decision I have ever made in my life. Buyer beware - beware of slick commercials, beware of the hard sell. Have other estimates in your hand before asking NuLook to come out and give theirs.
