We're a local, family owned business with over 10 years of experience handling gutter repair & replacement, heat tape / heat mats, snow stop, leaf guard, soffit and fascia / siding, bird spikes and gutter clean out. We aren't your typical huge company that has TV commercials, we'd rather keep our prices low! We'd love to earn your business! If we don't hit the mark, send us details of who gave you a better bid and we'll do everything we can to beat it! We're ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ on both Angi and Google for a reason - we're honest, our prices are great, and our customers LOVE us.

"Repair went well. Easy to work with."

14 years of experience

At Bull Moose Land Services we have a relatively small crew - 3 to 8, depending on the job - but we still have a diverse array of specialties, from tree services to irrigation. In fact, our specialty is fire mitigation, especially in places like cabin homes that reside in heavily forested areas. A fire-mitigation job can range from simple to complex: we might just collect debris (i.e., fuels) from the ground and haul them off or stack to burn in the winter or we may have large numbers of trees to cut and remove in addition to installation of fire-mitigation irrigation systems. We have experience working in many cities in Wyoming, including Jackson, Laramie, Casper, and Cheyenne, but we will also work in neighboring states.

"Pinnacle installed my roof a year ago and a few days ago in a severe windstorm, the roof began peeling away from my home. I contacted Ty Robertson at Pinnacle and he immediately dispatched two men who despite the high winds secured the roof back on my home and will return again today to make further repairs. I really am impressed with the service and the professionalism of this company. I would definitely recommend their services."

Roof Ice and Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

The average cost of a snow removal service is around $85, but this depends heavily on the amount of snow, your location, and the seasonal demand. An annual snow removal contract will typically cost between $200 and $600 for the season. Keep in mind that single services are usually based on the amount of snow, with every six inches adding to your total. You can expect to pay between $40 and $200 in most cases or as high as $500 or more for excessive snowfall. In many cases, it’s more affordable to enter into an annual contract.

It can be dangerous to remove icicles from your roof, so the best option is to treat the underlying issue instead, usually by ensuring proper insulation in your home. If you’re concerned about immediate damage, you can hire a professional to remove the icicles and the snow accumulation on your home to prevent the issue from recurring. Just make sure you use a long-term solution, too, like addressing insulation problems or installing roof heating coils on your roof.

The best time to hire a snow removal professional is long before snow falls in your area. Signing up for a seasonal contract not only provides peace of mind that your property will be cleared every time it snows, but it’s also often more affordable to sign a contract than paying for one-off services. If you prefer one-off shoveling services, you should contact your snow removal company the day before a storm is expected to schedule service. You can also call the morning of the snowfall, but this might result in delays.

Generally, snow removal from a roof should occur once over six inches of snow accumulates, especially if you notice that ice dams have formed. Without ice dams, you can let the snow accumulation hit 12 inches before removing it. However, the amount of snow that is too much for your roof also depends on the sturdiness of your roof and the compactness of the snow. If your roof needs maintenance or has structural issues, it’s best not to let the snow accumulate too much for fear of collapsing.

Snowblowers come in three different sizes: first-, second-, and third-stage blowers. Each additional stage is larger with higher intakes, more powerful, and has more gear options.

A first-stage blower, also called a snow thrower, is usually best for snow 6 to 8 inches or below. Electric snow blowers are usually only available in this size. If you regularly get snow that’s well above six inches, consider a second-stage snow blower. If snowstorms dump 2 to 3 feet of snow repeatedly during winter, you need a third-stage snow blower to tackle it.
