"The tech was on time and friendly. The vent cleaning went well and was quick. The downside to this was they have a $62 dollar service charge that is NOT applied to the price of their service. It is in addition. Otherwise, it was a good experience."

"Clean Homes LLC did an amazing job on my house. They were hired for a one-time cleaning and it was more like a deep cleaning. When I first walked into the house it smelled so fresh; what a great way to come home. The more I moved around the house the more impressed I was - the floors shined, the stainless steel was spotless, everything - and I mean everything - was dusted, wiped down, and shining. I would definitely recommend Clean Homes to anyone looking for a housekeeping service. This is a company with integrity that takes pride in what they do."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You can rinse your solar panels in some cases. For example, periodically rinsing your solar panels can remove light debris if you live in an agricultural or dusty area. Light dust and dirt won’t affect efficiency much, but they can build up and mix with other debris like animal droppings, leaves, and small sticks.

The best time to clean the outside of your house is during your outdoor spring cleaning. Wait until late spring, after the wave of pollen is done coating your home. You can also wash your house in late fall–before the first freeze–to remove leaves and branches from the gutters.

If you wish to forego painting your shingles but still want to give them a fresh look, a deep cleaning is the first step. Clean off any debris from your roof and gutters, and then power wash your shingles to get grime and algae off. To take things one step further, you might even consider installing new gutters to give your home a bright new look.

You should clean your panels at least twice a year. It depends on your location. In dusty climates (think the Arizona desert), you may need to clean your panels more frequently. Dust can dramatically impact the electrical output. If you live in a climate with extreme weather, you may want to check your panels seasonally.

There are several ways to remove snow from your roof: using a snow rake, salting the roof with calcium chloride, using a rope (cautiously), and using heating cables. It’s important to mention that pretty, fluffy, sparkling snow weighs a great deal, and when physically removing snow from a roof, you should be aware of large snow slabs breaking off. These can weigh hundreds of pounds and are a real danger, so be extremely careful anytime you’re doing this type of work.
