Contract contained MANY loops found along the construction phase which left room for deception in quality work and materials specified. Although the contracts are actually draw sheet you don't get to see your discussed plans before he begins apparently, only AFTER the project is started. When you set down the owner and draw up what you want to go to HIS engineer for design, make CERTAIN you ask for copy or you'll later get a blank stare or excuse as to why there isn't one. All along when you complain you didn't want a certain thing they do, your asked for more cash to get what YOU wanted and told them to do in the beginning! Asked for specifics to be built and was not given what was agreed upon. The project at completion was build to CONTRACTOR WANTS and specifications ONLY, NOT CLIENTS specifications WANTS OR NEEDS. Contractor used the cheapest materials he could find to complete this project although client had paid for high end quality materials and work. Quality in work was very poor and some things had to be done over as they were just so poorly completed. Drywall for example looked like a bunch of grade schools were let loose with crayons. Half of the fixtures were either extremely CHEAP QUALITY or appeared to be either USED from a previous customers project or purchased as low end seconds. Paid materials disappeared from the job site location too or had possibly been switched out for cheaper materials as suspected. Although Company TRIED to match and failed what had been purchased by client to be installed. Client then discovers the old switch method of switching high end materials for low end and trying to deceive their client. This company is horrible in personal opinion. Over-priced for what you paid for and then receive. Buyer beware also, in this state you cannot let an employee be your Notary if YOUR company. This company used their own employee as the Notary on their papers it was discovered way too late. I doubt these practices are legal what this company is doing. I highly recommend anyone to steer clear of this company for commercial anyway. I don't know about a residential job though honestly. The owner of this construction company NEEDS to be more involved in what his employees are doing and to make certain those he hires really do KNOW what their doing. This company is not worth the cost in terms of quality at all from what my company owners noticed. My primary business is consulting on buildings that have construction defects that allow moisture intrusion, rot, mold, etc. I also work with builders on new buildings to assist in the sequencing and selection of products to prevent moisture intrusion, promote long-term building performance, ie., concrete curing, roof flashing, window and door installation, moisture barriers, basement waterproofing, etc.

"Tim Bragg and his company Septic Solutions of Adrian, WV was hired in 2007 to excavate a basement for a new home, install a septic tank, connect a water supply line to the house, and install an underground PVC drainage system to carry rain water away from the foundation. A problem was discovered in July 2019 that an important PVC connection had never been glued together and had pulled apart. This allowed rain water to accumulate next to the foundation and septic tank. I contacted Mr. Bragg and his response was that they would correct it some time in August. I also sent him pictures of the separated connection that was found underground. Unfortunately, that was the first and last communication with Mr. Bragg as he no longer took my phone calls or returned phone calls or texts. The lack of response is totally unprofessional and not trustworthy. If you don't want to fix it, can't fix it, or don't want to take responsibility for the mistake, then speak up. Don't hide behind voicemail."

FAQs for concrete finishing projects in Thomas, WV
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
The average cost of stamped concrete is around $12 per square foot, but you might pay anywhere from $8 to $28 per square foot. The average 12-foot by 12-foot patio costs $1,730 on average. Your exact pricing will depend on the patio’s square footage, the condition of the area where you want to pour the concrete, the desired stamp pattern, concrete coloring, concrete grade, and local labor prices. Don’t forget to budget for extra costs like land preparation and additional concrete fortifications if necessary.
Depending on the cost to repair your driveway, it may be more cost effective to tear out and replace it with a new concrete driveway. The cost to repave a driveway ranges between $1,400 and $12,100, including removal of the old concrete. Contact a reputable concrete contractor for advice and an estimate. They may have a good reason for going with repairs or replacement after assessing your driveway. You may also have the option to resurface your driveway or pave over it without taking out the existing one.
It’s possible to create stamped concrete yourself, but we don’t recommend it and it’s often not cost-effective. It’s easy to mess up the pattern of a stamped concrete patio or walkway, leaving you with an unsightly home exterior rather than the elegant solution you wanted. Any mistakes made during the ground leveling and concrete pouring process will also increase the risk of cracks forming on your concrete. Additionally, buying enough stamps to get the pattern in before your concrete cures can cost as much as hiring a professional to do the work for you.
Concrete contractors typically charge anywhere from $6 to $14 per square foot. Cost factors include job size, site prep, base material, accessibility, your location, concrete finish, and concrete thickness. Removal of existing concrete, asphalt, deck, pavers, and grass will cost anywhere from $1 to $6 per square foot. Homeowners can often save money by removing and disposing of existing pavers, decks, and grass. Breaking up and hauling away concrete and asphalt is difficult and time-consuming without the proper equipment and may be worth having the pros do that work.
