"They will change the contract, promise a refund and never send it. They also will not respond to inquiries. Promised call backs that never happen. Promised call from manager, never received. We had the work done in May and they are still keeping my money as of August. If they change the work order do not pay the full amount unless you get a new contract. I made the mistake of trusting them."

What you do with excess concrete depends on the amount you have left over. For large amounts of excess concrete, you can rent a dumpster from a company that specializes in concrete disposal. Another option is to take your leftover concrete to a landfill or transfer station—just make sure you call your preferred location first to make sure they accept concrete.

Some homeowners have luck using pressure washers, but this only works for old or weaker concrete sealants and with very powerful pressure washers. You’ll get better results by pressure washing water-based sealants. However, it’s worth trying on any sealant if you’re hoping for the least toxic, least expensive, and most DIY-friendly option. To try this method, rent or buy the most powerful pressure washer you can find and take several passes at the concrete, completely pressure washing the entire area. Removing fence posts that are set in concrete is something you can't do by hand. You will need an excavator, a strong post-puller, or a jackhammer. Vinegar has become popular because it’s wallet-friendly, easy to find, and sounds like a great alternative to harsh chemicals and expensive machinery. However, vinegar isn’t strong enough to remove concrete sealant. Sealants can resist acid, and vinegar is a much weaker acid than chemical removal agents. And worse, vinegar can damage concrete by dulling it and causing pitting.
