"I knew we had mold in our house (wet basement and a roof leak), but I wasn't aware of the extent of the problem. Green Home Solutions came out and did a bunch of tests- they tested the air in the house, they tested surfaces, they non-invasively tested inside the walls- it was scary how much of a problem we had. Their equipment was all very technical and state-of-the-art, they even used thermal imaging- which was super cool to watch- and the technician did a fantastic job of explaining exactly what each thing did and how it all worked. The staff was incredibly professional and friendly both on the phone as well as in person.I was very surprised by how quickly they got back to me with the test results. The follow-up appointment for removal was set up promptly and they came ready to kill (mold)! We and our animals did have to vacate the house while they worked, and couldn't return for 8 hours- considering how much mold we had, 8 hours seemed like nothing! Having done a lot of research myself- I know many chemicals require you to stay out for 24+ hours. Everything they use is "green" and comes from plant enzymes and other organic matter (I can't remember everything the technician told me, it was a lot of info). We came back to a house that smelled amazing and within 1 day of the chemicals being sprayed, all signs of living mold were gone. We just did a thorough vacuuming and sweeping for any remnants of dead mold, and our house had never felt cleaner. Our basement used to smell musky and like mold/mildew- and it smells amazingly fresh now. The technician was also kind enough to offer some advice on how to keep this from happening again (tips for keeping water out of the basement). I hope I never need to have mold removed from our house again, but I would call them back in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this company- even if you just have them come out initially and test to see what sort of mold problems you might have. He did numerous checks for viruses, malware, and various other things that can go wrong. He vigorously pursued a resolution pretty steadily for two days before determining it was a malfunctioning external backup system that was causing the problem. With that finding, he promptly got my computer running smoothly and very fast again. "Jodie and Ben Arrived within a half hour of calling the office.  They actually brought a ladder and climbed on the roof to inspect and take measurements. Jodie investigated the condition of the roof from the attic and immediately found the area which was leaking; an old boot around the piping. He also pointed out I would need to get that wood replaced around that area soon before it caused problems.
 
He arrived the day he said he would, and began work right away. Originally I had just thought the corner of the gutter needed repair. He could have easily just repaired that area and left the rest of the rotted wood and I wouldn't have known. But HE DIDN'T He did the job right the first time! 
He was completely finished in two days (roof and electric box) and did an excellent job cleaning up after. I didn't find one piece of wood or old nail in my yard or on my patio.
The price was very fair for the amount of work that he did!

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
