Was originally only planning on having him unload some basic items from our shipment but when we discovered that our U-Haul movers had basically buried most of our important furniture in the back of our U-Box storage containers, Larry was quick to jump on fixing our issue. With Larry's help we were able to get all 8 U-Boxes emptied and our storage boxes into all the right locations. Then even though is was getting quite late when we finished unloading, Larry took the time to help assemble the furniture in my wife and I's bedroom and our daughter's bedroom. "THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH STARS IN HEAVEN TO SAY HOW WONDERFUL MR. ADKINS AND HIS CREW WERE TO US!!!!! OnJuly 1st. There was a very bad storm in Mason Co,. And we were without electricity for 7 hours. During that time the loss of power ruined our bladder tank in our well house. My husband and I have been using a well that his family dug probably in the 40's when they built the house. We have been without water since July 1st. So we decided to put in city water. We paid for the tap and the city of Point Pleasant water office said for us to find a contractor to install the line. They said " just go to a hardware store and they will probably know of someone who can do it." We went to 2. No luck. A lot of contractors are swamped with work and we were told it would be weeks before they could get time to do it. So after much prayer God sent Mr. Adkins and his crew!!!!! There are not enough words to describe the great level of professionalism and the quality of work is nothing short of perfect!!!! After describing our problem, Mr. Adkins moved his schedule around and placed us on an emergency status and came here at 9 am and by 4pm I now have running water in my home!!! IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!! DO NOT HIRE ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!!"
"We called Machen for an estimate to tear off our old roof on our house and detached garage. They were very responsive and Jodi even came out on a Saturday to give us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable regarding the materials and products we needed, and we were impressed that he actually climbed the roof to take all of the measurements, where other contractors we had contacted did not. The estimate we received was fair considering that the roof deck would need wrapped and the amount of ice guard we needed. Jodi and his team were on time every day and got right to work. They took their time on the job and were very conscientious about the work performed to ensure it was done correctly. Jodi takes a lot of pride in ensuring the job site remains neat and takes a lot of care to ensure they thoroughly clean up before leaving for the day. We ran into heavy rain halfway through the project and Jodi even came out on the weekend to ensure that the roof was water tight before the rain hit. The new roof looks great and we are very pleased with the end result!"
"I needed my TV stand assembled ASAP because I've had the TV for over a month. I couldn't put it together by someone (I'm handicapped) and I thought about Angie's List late on a Saturday night. Well, I found Gandy's Mechanical Maintenance Services, filled out the form, and chose Gandy's from the list that popped up. I wasn't disappointed. I called them late (too late) and told them what I needed. They were here on Sunday around noon. And what a job they did! I couldn't be happier and of this writing, I already have a minimum of four more projects when we move into our new house. I would estimate we will have at least six more "projects" for Gandy's and I won't think twice for them to do the jobs for me."
