"We hired them to fix a vertical electric wheelchair lift. The man who came was very professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. He fixed the lift in a matter of minutes and his price was very reasonable. I most highly recommend the service."

Small jobs welcome

"They were quick to reply, hire, and complete the job. They were flexible and worked with my schedule. Additionally, they were friendly, hardworking, and respectful; but their outside door job was a little sloppy. I can still see ends of screws, multiple shims, and a random 2x2 nailed to one side. The door doesn?t close smoothly and needs to be pressed on to ensure it locks. But I am happy it?s done as I think it was a more complicated job than they anticipated."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Sometimes, homeowners choose to install their pool on concrete, foam tiles, or patio pavers. Leveled dirt is also fine, as long as it’s not sod or grass. Regardless, you’ll need to install sand as a buffer to prevent your liner from tearing. Some pool installers also use a protective foam pool pad.

Most importantly, you should never cut corners when building a pool. Whether it’s an in-ground or aboveground, poorly constructed pools are dangerous to both the swimmers and your property. Leaks can even lead to home foundation damage. While you can DIY smaller elements of pool installation, always hire a contractor to oversee the process.

While you can save some money by digging your own pool, you may end up paying more in construction equipment rental fees in the long run. You could, however, focus your DIY energies on lowering the cost of leveling your lawn for your pool or filling in surrounding landscaping after construction.

Many providers include essential accessories like ladders and skimmers. Confirm details before starting the project.

You should add one 3-inch chlorine tablet for every 5,000 gallons of water in your pool. If you have a smaller pool, it’s better to use 1-inch chlorine tablets so you don’t accidentally add too much chlorine. Alternatively, you can add two to three ounces of powdered chlorine or half a gallon of liquid chlorine for every 5,000 gallons of water.
