"My rock border was full of dirt and weeds. The guys took out the stones, cleaned them off on the driveway, put down new weed guard, then replaced the stones and added more to fill in. It looks like new! They also sawed down a couple of stumps and worked around my existing plants. Pleased with how it turned out!"

"Joel and his crew were very professional. They arrived when they said they would and made incredibly quick work of the project. When they left we couldnâ t even tell they had been working in the yard, except for the beautiful new curbing. Thank Joel for a superb job."

Juniper branches that come into contact with siding can damage the home's exterior over time. Also, some juniper bushes have aggressive roots that can put pressure on a home's foundation or basement walls.

The best way to landscape your front yard on a budget is to invest in hiring a professional for hardscaping—things like upgrading walkways, redoing driveways, and installing partitions around garden beds. You can often do the softscaping yourself—think laying down mulch, caring for your lawn, removing weeds, and planting flowers and shrubs. It’s also almost always worthwhile to pay a professional for routine yard maintenance, as this dramatically improves curb appeal and delivers above 100% ROI in most cases.

During the fall, you’re likely to see foliage in stunning shades of orange, red, yellow, and brown. These colors emerge because of a seasonal decline in the pigment chlorophyll that makes leaves green.

Yes, such as sod installation and erosion control for comprehensive site improvement.

Most experts recommend a quarter-inch layer of compost for best results, and you will need about .77 cubic yards of material per 1,000 square feet. To measure how much compost to use, take the square footage of your yard and multiply it by .77, then divide that number by 1,000.
