"I had Greener Cleaner, LLC come out and powerwash the siding on my house. It hasnâ t been done in at least 2 years, so it was looking pretty rough. I also had them clean out the gutters and powerwash the sidewalks. It looked spotless! Thatâ s when I found out they also do windows, you can really tell the crew takes pride in their work and doesnâ t miss a beat. The cost is very reasonable and worth every penny. Needless to say, I will definitely be a returning customer!"

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The simplest way to clean stained glass windows is by using warm distilled water and a damp cloth. Distilled water won’t corrode the stained glass or leave residue behind. Avoid using cleaners with alcohol or ammonia. However, you should only clean when necessary. Stained glass windows are fragile, and excessive cleaning could cause fading, weakening of the solder, or other damage.

All of the things you use to help you get clean can leave your shower door looking dirty. Water can leave mineral deposits as well as unsightly spots when drops of water dry on the glass. Soap and shampoo can cause build-up and residue that leaves a layer of soap scum in your shower, which then attracts dirt. Mold and mildew can also contribute to dirty shower doors; these fast-growing organisms thrive in areas with poor air circulation, damp conditions, and residue from things like soap and shampoo.

Because the built-in blinds are encased in glass, they should not get dusty. You might, however, find that your door’s window panes get dirty. If that is the case and you wish to clean your patio door’s glass, first remove any loose debris with a small vacuum or brush. Next, fill a bucket with warm water and some mild dish soap. Dip a clean rag into the bucket and wet the glass on your patio door. Dry the glass with a clean microfiber cloth.

Regular cleaning and inspecting seals to prevent fogging and maintain clarity.

Yes, many professionals use biodegradable detergents and water-efficient cleaning techniques to minimize environmental impact.
