A few weeks later Mr. Binner put in the new fireplace. It is so powerful, it sets off the smoke detectors. My mom spoke on the phone with Mr. Binner who suggested she keep it on low. That works, but my mom wanted a fireplace for primarily decorative purposes - to see the flames burning brightly....
