"Lesson learned. You get what you pay for. Deveto (Veto), quoted me a two-day job starting on a Wednesday and ending on Thursday. Unfortunately he was late the first day by half an hour and did not return until the following Saturday. This was after several days of my husband continuously contacting him. The first day he advised us that he would fix a few cracks and taping off the area, which would only take a few hours. Instead he actually worked for approximately 9 hours. This would not have been an issue had I known before hand. He did a good job protecting the woodwork in my home however, the actual painting was very sloppy and rushed. Unfortunately there was only one coat of paint applied and it showed. Veto lacks communication skills and seems to have little to no respect for others time. I would definitely NOT recommend hiring this company for any future work!"

"Ken was fantastic from start to finish. I hired him to remove an old basketball hoop, pour new cement, and install a new one. The job turned out to be much tougher than expected—the old cement was nearly impossible to break up and the clay ground was hard to dig deeper for the required dept —but Ken handled it like a pro, using a jackhammer and digging through hard clay soil without complaint. Despite the extra work and materials needed, he stuck to his original price even when I asked to pay him more, which speaks volumes about his integrity. He returned a few days later to assemble the hoop, and the final result was perfect—every measurement was spot-on. Ken went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again. Highly recommended!"

"While I was quite impressed with Quinn, I was disappointed with our job. In our contract, it stated that vertical cracks and gaps would be caulked (see quote screenshot) and that all siding boards would be replaced that needed it. I pointed out the ones I knew about but was relying on them to tell me what boards needed to be replaced (see email screenshot). As you can see in the pictures from our chimney inspector today (3 weeks after painting), there was no caulk replaced at all and there are at least 8 more boards we found on our chimney that need to be replaced which have HUGE gaps from warping. When I asked Quinn about those particular boards that I could see from the ground, he said his crew told him they were fine. I'm highly disappointed and now have to hire someone else to fix these issues. I chose QGC as they gave me the best "feel" that things would be done correctly. They were my most expensive quote out of 6, I went with them based on what I thought would be done."

What you will "not" get is the important surface preparation work specified in the estimate. You also will "not" get a good quality paint work. "Had a basement door installed and needed the finish work completed. Kris came and gave us a very reasonable estimate. We contracted Kris and he started our project in a timely manner. He arrived on time with his helper and completed the job in one day. His efforts included finishing the drywall, installing woodwork and painting and staining as necessary. The work performed was outstanding and beyond my expectations. Every detail was exacting and done to perfection. He was very knowledgeable and eager to meet to meet all our needs.
