"Great. Took a little longer to find the right materials but when they did, the railing was completed professionally and beautifully. The team is friendly and thorough. I would use them again for other projects and am"

"Good price. Did the job exactly as expected. Removed an extremely large cottonwood between houses, and a large maple from front of house, along with the stumps from both. Difficult to get at the cottonwood but everything done professionally and safely. Cleaned up completely. I have already recommended them to others."

"It was a very good experience. We couldn't find somebody to install the flooring because we already had it which was our problem. The flooring looks like wood but it is vinyl planks. They were 6 inches wide by 3 feet wide. It was peel and stick. The other floor was Pergo flooring that is snapped together which was done in the basement. It was a floating floor. They were very good and we invited them back. We are using them again. They were absolute dolls. They were actually early."

"We called Amethyst in June 2014 with the our my project the first for 2015 and suggested that we call back at the end of July or beginning of August. We called back and made arrangements to meet so she could see the space. Within about a month of the meeting, Kristi provided an intial plan for the room. We worked together over the next few months to find the right solution for the space. In October, Kristi brought out a team of carpenters, electricians, etc. to put together an estimate of the cost of the work. The estimate was within the range of what I expected and we decided to go forward in the spring.      We made some additional changes to plans over the winter and finalized the plan for the architectural review board in mid-April.    Construction started at the end of April.    The demolition and rough carpentry was high quality and done ahead of schedule.    Things slowed down with with the dry wall contractor and that put everything behind because the carpenters as well as the other subcontractors were now well into construction season and very busy and it seemed like there were lots of days when no one was on the job.   The work was substantially done by the end of June in about the time frame projected and we are very happy with the room.   All of the contractors did quality work.

There were a few glitches along the way:
1.  The entrance to the room from the outside involved steps because the room was brought to the level of the rest of the house.  Initially, the carpenters built wooden steps.   However, the building inspector indicated that the steps did not meet code because a landing is required for safety.   The carpenters built a landing larger than the required size because of the configuration of the area/   The landing was ugly and covered up a bed that we use for planting.   We indicated to Kristi that the solution was unacceptable and she suggested building a deck that covered the whole area.    We asked her to draw it and price it and it was more than $5,000.  We then worked together to find something more reasonably priced, but attractive.  We are very happy with the final solution, which added about $1,000 to the cost.   However, we were unhappy because the original plan was not up to code, an unacceptable solution was decided between the architect and the carpenter and built without any input from us, and that this was a code issue that could have been foreseen and took a lot of time to resolve.
2.  The french doors to the house from the room did not have a good locking system.   The plans called for a new lock, but that was never priced into the contract.   It turned out that due the type of door, the lock itself was going to be very expensive.    The doors were old and warped and this seemed like too much to spend on the old doors.     I asked Kristi to find out how much new doors would cost pre-finished and was told about $1,200.    We talked about wood types and I asked them to price out maple with some kind of textured glass.   After checking, we were told that we could get an Oak Door for $1,200 and that frosted glass would cost about $200 more, but the maple and the glass would add another $1,400.  The final price of the door  installed once it was finally bid was over $2,000.    In the end, we decided to replace the doors with regular glass.   The doors were ordered at the end of July  and were installed in September.   We are happy with the new doors, but would have preferred to have a realistic price up front rather than a guess a that turned out to be way off and also the number of times we had to go back in forth to get a realistic number.
Kristi was very responsive throughout the process.   The room matches the architecture of the house and in the end is exactly what we wanted.    Construction projects always have glitches and cost overruns and we felt fortunate that that they were kept to a minimum and that Kristi took care of dealing directly with the subcontractors to resolve issues.    We would consider using her again for a project should the need arise.

"Tyler and Aaron were AWESOME! They worked TOGETHER to identify best options/solutions for us. They shared with us what they planned to do and provided the rationale, offered options and made suggestions based on experience, tested everything before leaving, cleaned the area affected, and even asked if they'd like us to Swiffer the floor! They mounted the TV despite this not being listed in the cost of the project. Absolutely the most professional, communicative, and polite professionals we've ever worked with. Can't praise them enough!"

"We hired this pro to install around 200 ft of 4 1/2 foot wooden fence alongside our property. His company did a great job and I was always able to communicate with the staff of site about the specifications of the job. The final product turned out great and the price and time it was completed were both very satisfactory."

FAQs for trampoline assembly projects in Fox Point, WI

In most cases, professional organizers are well worth the investment. They often handle decluttering, which can take hours of work, and professional home and garage organization solutions that homeowners wouldn’t often think about. In many cases, homeowners will recognize the true value of a professional organizer during the weeks following the project’s finish when they use their new space and realize the improved quality of life that comes with convenient and thoughtful storage and organization.

The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.

When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

Professional organizers charge $55 to $100 per hour, with average per-project rates costing $510. If you need help with basic decluttering and organizing of your garage, expect to pay $200 to $700. On the other hand, major reorganization projects can cost $1,500 to $5,000, including installing shelves and storage solutions. Expect to pay more for professional organization help if you need specialty storage solutions, like cabinets and toolboxes for a workshop or a ceiling-mounted kayak or bike storage option.
