I contracted for a tub/shower replacement and a second stand alone shower replacement.There are some dings in my tub, and my flooring and baseboard has damage on my stand alone. I was told that someone will be in contact to address these things. "I had MAJOR water damage in my family room on my outside wall ( half brick- huge window) and a bit on the adjoining walls as well. Dante Wilmet was a miracle worker on this project. Installing a drop-in tub yourself is possible, especially if you’re replacing your existing tub with a new one of the same size. The reasons not to install flooring underneath a bathtub outweigh the benefits. A properly installed bathtub will keep water from reaching the unprotected subfloor underneath.
