Description of Work: I had several bids for removing a giant sequoia tree from beside my house, and Blooma was the lowest that was in the ballpark of reality. He had to rent a crane so work couldn't start as soon as I had hoped, but we set a date a couple weeks out when he could. That morning the crew arrived right on time and was ready to get to it. The team that downed the tree was excellent, they completed ahead of schedule even in the rain and left the wood for another team to pick up before the end of the day, which was all per agreement. I can't say enough good things about the half dozen guys that actually work for Blooma, they were top notch and fun to talk to. |From there it wasn't so great. Blooma subcontracts the wood removal, and in this case the guy didn't show up until almost dark, had a trailer that was way too small for the work, and was only able to get half a load that day. He had to leave his bobcat in my driveway and most of the wood on the lawn. He was out there the entire next day taking away load after load in his tiny trailer until dark again. His bobcat ripped up the yard and he didn't do any cleanup after the last load, which he was supposed to. |Bottom line, they are excellent tree removers but be weary if you want them to dispose of the wood. While it was sitting there I actually sold two pickup loads to neighbors and passer-byes. You're better off just posting 'free wood' on Craigslist and getting taken away for free if you don't want it.

Description of Work: Claimed they underbid ( they were right). Did a great job. Cut and chipped high Mountain Laurel hedges and dead tree. Got the job done quick and did a clean up.
