Although it was a complicated project to coordinate due to the distance from suppliers and supply chair problems, it was handled very professionally. I really appreciate how closely he stayed in touch with us about the project and sent many photos as the work progressed. Since we live in the Seattle area, it was not possible for us to keep close tabs on the project in person. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, and does beautiful work. "we worked w/tim a few years ago in the siting of a cabin on our property on a remote island in the san juans. we were happy to be able to tap into his many years of practical experience designing and bldg in the islands and in seattle. his fresh perspective, walking our 3+ acre site w/us, confirmed the siting assumptions we'd made and allowed us to move fwd w/our building knowing that we'd left few, if any, stones unturned. his design sense speaks to both contemporary and/or traditional/rustic design -- appropriate design being the key to his vision -- he understands the value of not imposing a design on a site but rather working w/the landform and design to assure a superb fit. tim helped us transform our bldg from ideas to a buildable design. he understands and is highly experienced in the bldg process and is well-versed in the pragmatics, from programming, to schematic design to siting to contractor evaluation and can take a scheme to fruition! he really helped us move our project forward. in the event of a contractor dispute, tim can be helpful in setting things straight and helping to get things back on track and again, moving forward. he's also quite astute in confirming budgeting assumptions, bringing his deep, real world experience to bear on a project. that said, we'd be happy to work w/tim again on any building project we undertake -- he's easygoing, a solid listener and a terrific resource for any project you might want to undertake."

"Rubin came out to look at the job and discussed an additional job I was considering. He did not send the estimate for the second job, but then did communicate the information to me when he came out to do the first job. Rubin was very professional, personable and a clear communicator. I had purchased and Angie Big Deal of three hours for $99 dollars expecting the job would require an additional 1-2 hours. His estimate and final price came out about what I expected. His work was very good. I will have him back to do the second job of refinishing the walls in the bathroom."

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"Marty done a few projects on my home from indoor trim, window replacements, siding, A/C and heating. He does a lot of other projects as well. He stays in contact with me and is very honest. He was right there with pricing, he did his work quickly, kept in touch with what he was doing and gave updates if anything changed with the project."
