Crane Overhead Door

The technician Justin came out and repaired our garage door as it would not open or close. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. My wife called to get an estimate on repairing our garage door. Crane said that they would be out the next day (1/6) which I thought was impressive, they said between 1600-1630 wife took off work to be there and no call and no show. The next day (1/7) the office called and apologized said their guy got stuck on a job and if it would work for us, they would come out when convenient. We agreed on a time a couple days later (1/8) they gave the same 1600-1630 time frame. At 1655 the estimator called to let us know he was not going to make it out. 2 days leaving early from work for no reason.

These guys are a class act with great customer service. Do what they say they are going to do and don't try to upsell the customer or try to talk you into spending more money. They came out and looked at my garage door same day I called them..then came out the very next day and fixed it..it had alot of problems! All for a very reasonable price.

I highly recommend Crane!! I called and spoke with Carl this morning to repair a door that had been installed incorrectly by an individual who greatly misrepresented himself. Jeremy arrived approx. 1 hour following my initial call. It took Jeremy all of 5-minutes to diagnose the problem and within 90 minutes he was completed with the repair and the door was operating correctly. I won't go into detail regarding the first "Installer" (and I use that term very loosely) but PLEASE properly vet anyone that you, as a homeowner hire to install or repair anything!! In the event that ANY additional garage door work &/or repairs are needed my first and only call will be to Crane. Specifically Carl & Jeremy: Thank You!!!

the service tech did a great job. Communication was great he showed up when he said he was going to and found out a couple other things that needed to be replaced. He had the tools he had the parts in it. It's working great. I would recommend them to anybody

Quick response to a sudden situation. The repair was needed at the time.

Owner is very rude on the phone. Says he accepts no responsibility for mis ordered supplies. I had to hang up on them as I don't let people talk to me that way. Sent inexperienced I'll equipped crew to install the doors.

We hired Crane to install shop door openers and paint our doors. We had numerous issues, and a year after install told us they were out of warranty and would have to pay to replace them. We paid to have one repaired, then called another company who told us they won’t work on them because they were defective. We asked Crane to replace them and they confirmed via email known defect and would replace them after one of the doors was stuck a foot off the ground. They came out when we were not home, didn’t replace the openers and then charged us $368 for a service call. We didn’t authorize the fix and expected them to replace the openers. We sent a letter disputing the charges and 6 months later we receive a bill for $714 as they have been charging us $65 per month late fee. We affirmed that we don’t owe this as we did not authorize a repair and now they are sending us to collections. The owner was extremely hostile to us. Do not recommend this company based on our experience.

Poor customer service. Unprofessional and would never hire them again. Do not expect them to honor their warranty. Sent wrong track for door with inexperienced installer. Scheduled service but forgot to call and tell me. Came back second day to fix one track but refused to fix the other and told me my door opener was broken. Gave me a very high quote to install a new one. I refused and got it installed by Lowes for less than half the price. Manager threatened me that to have someone else install the garage door opener would nullify the warranty on the door. Lowes warranty will cover any problem the opener may cause if defective. Worlds of difference in attitude and service!

Contractor was on time and efficient. He cleaned up after the door was installed and it works and seals perfectly.

The technician was courteous, hard working and attentive to detail and cleanup. I’m very satisfied with my two new overhead doors.

I would recommend this company. Initially there was a little communication problem but the owner got wind of it and made things totally right. My door had a minor problem that was addressed and the lack of communication was taken care of the next day and also handled rightly. It shows business integrity which I am grateful for. I do recommend them.

Crane was able to come out the next day. Problem was determined to be that the door jammed and it was an easy fix. Thank you

Scheduled the work to be done for us very quickly. Arrived on time and was pleasant to work with. Very reasonable prices.

Excellent service from start to finish. The person who gave the estimate was informative and professional. The person who I dealt with in the office for scheduling was very helpful, and the installation person was very professional, and polite and did an excellent job. And when he left, everything was cleaned up and all my questions answered.

Provided lower qoute than others. Promptly returned calls and showed up to install springs on Saturday with no additional costs and on time. Completed and cleaned up in about an hour.

Responded quickly to get my car out when the door was jammed; later did a great job replacing the door. Great people!
