"Great service, arrived on time and did all the work in a very professional manner.  Another plumber had told us that it would cost $800+ to fix the leak; involving removing tile work ect.  We lived with the leak for longer then we wanted, fully expecting the cost to be what was quoted.  I'm so glad that I joined Angieslist and called Noble Plumbing; they had very good ratings.  It turned out to be a quick and a lot less expensive fix then we had thought; probably saving us hundreds of dollars. We are involved in a bit of remodeling at the moment and I am so glad to find a plumber that does such great work and we can trust.

"We were very pleased with the job that Shane did for us, he came out quickly and completed the job quickly and even gave us advice on a hot/cold faucet in our garage. He went so far as to help us schedule our sewer line inspection to be sure we didn’t have roots penetrating them(something I had forgotten to do lol). Overall we were very satisfied, not only was his work quality but his price was more than reasonable compared to other estimates we had received! We will definitely keep his card around for any and all future plumbing here at our home! Thanks again!!!"

Solar Panels questions, answered by experts

The best way to know if your roof can support solar panels is to hire a structural engineer. They’ll look at your roof and approve the design of your solar panel system or suggest changes. The best roofing for solar panels is made from strong materials like asphalt shingles and metal, but tile and gravel will work. Softer materials like thatch or temporary structures are not a good fit.

Solar well pumps range from needing 200 watts of power to as much as 12,000 watts for heavy-duty pumps. Since the most common and cost-friendly solar panels are 100-watt panels, you’ll need between two and 12 panels. The average is between two and eight panels for standard pumps. Based on the average cost of solar panels ($1 to $1.50 per watt), you’d pay between $200 and $1,800 for your well pump solar panels—not including installation.

The morning sun can be better for solar panels because it’s often brighter and clearer than the afternoon sun. The brighter the sun, the more energy solar panels produce. The strongest rays occur during midday, which tends to be prime time for solar energy generation. Most homes get a mix of morning and afternoon sunlight.

Installing solar panels involves drilling small holes in your roof to secure the solar panel mounting brackets. These brackets hold the solar panels in place and must withstand strong weather conditions so they’re secured into your roof. However, holes and screws are sealed to prevent leaking and further damage.

Yes, you have to get on the roof to cut a hole for solar tubing. It's not possible to complete the job from inside your house by simply cutting through the ceiling. So if you want to go the DIY route, remember to use safe ladder practices. If you’re not comfortable climbing on your roof to install solar tubes, hire a pro who has the tools and expertise to do the job safely.
