"VT gutter co installed a full seamless gutter system on our home last fall. They responded to our request promptly. Our sales rep was professional and knowledgeable. not only did we get a fairly priced, quality product, but they took the time while designing our system to make sure it accomplished what we needed. . we really didnâ t know what we were looking for going into this project and where grateful they took the time to educate and guide us through this. Highly recommend for anyone needing gutter work."

Small jobs welcome

"Woffard London and his crew did an amazing job. They showed up just a few minutes before our appointment and reviewed the job with me very carefully so knew exactly what I needed done. They cleaned the gutters and washed the house. No pictures of the gutters but you can see how the house looks amazing. They were fantastic to work with! Thank you SO much!"

"Good communication, good value and professional result. Put on a metal ag style roof and completed trim and battens on a large shed. Having them come back to complete a gutter installation but so far great work all round. Nice guys to work with also."

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

One of the biggest causes of gutter leaks is clogged gutters. If your gutters are full of debris and leaves, water will back up and eventually overflow outside of the gutter. Other common causes of gutter leaks include loosened gutter fasteners, faulty gutter slopes (sagging gutters), separated joints, and cracks or holes.

Yes, it is okay to knock down icicles yourself. Just make sure to take the proper safety precautions. If you’re not comfortable doing it yourself, contact a roofing professional.

Most repairs take 2-4 hours, but extensive repairs or full section replacements may take an entire day.

Sagging gutters stress your downspout, so have your gutters fixed before you secure your downspout.

Buried downspouts can freeze during cold weather as cold water runs through them. If you’ve discovered your downspouts are frozen, you can carefully pour hot water down the top of the downspout to defrost them. If that doesn’t work, you may need to dig your downspout back up. Avoid trying to break the ice from the exterior using a hammer as this can cause cracks and damage to your downspout.

To avoid freezing the future, consider adding a heating cable to the exterior, which can adjust heat based on the surrounding temperature.
