Description of Work: I took in several pieces of jewelry for repair. One item was a diamond anniversary ring with 14 marquis diamonds and 7 round diamonds. All the prongs were loose. I lost a marquis diamond approximately 7 years ago and took it to a jeweler in Crystal City, VA. The Crystal City jeweler replaced the marquis, diamond for $75 but it never looked like the quality of the other diamonds, and it bothered me every time I wore it. With JBD, I picked out another marquis diamond that matched the quality of the other diamonds. The cost was $65 for the diamond - Already cheaper years later. When I went to pick up the ring, JBD informed me that there was dirt behind the diamond and there was no opening to reflect the light. So there was a flaw with the ring when it was purchased in 1998, and the original diamond in the ring was fine. So I didn't have to pay $65 for a new diamond. They repaired the ring, punched a hole in the gold so the light would reflect the quality of the diamond, and it looks gorgeous. I believe JBD is an honorable, trustworthy business.

Description of Work: First they sold a diamond for me. They then took diamonds from a ring that belonged to my mother and created a beautiful bracelet and Ring of which we designed together. They also replaced the diamond in my moms engagement ring and made a pair of diamond earrings for my sister. I could not have asked for a better job nor a more professional service.
