"We had a large blank wall and high ceilings. The space needed something more. Jen was great to work with. She asked what our goal was for the space . She gave us a few options then designed a wall unit with a mantle. It’s beautiful. We love the new addition to our home."

Small jobs welcome

"We had a great experience with ANF. If I would be able to give them 6 stars I would do it!. Fazil and Matt and their team were timely, professional and extremely reliable. We would recommend them to anyone that is in the market for a new kitchen or bath. We love our new kitchen and couldnâ t be more grateful that it was in their hands."

"My husband and I started to â  remodelâ  our master bathroom, which quickly turned into a disaster. Our neighbor gave us a recommend for New Line Construction. We gave New Line Construction a call. The owner Carlos Abrego came to look at what we had done. He was very understanding of our situation and gave us a very fair quote for the work. Carlos was able to work within our budget. We knew immediately he was the company we would use. His attention to detail was spot on. We were very comfortable with all his suggestions. Carlos showed us things to be done we didnâ  t think of. His crew is impressive. They are professional and knowledgeable. When they arrived, they put-up shields to protect the other parts of our home from dust. As they completed each area, the foreman Fernando asked if the work was to our satisfaction. When they left the job each day, they would leave the area as clean, if not cleaner than they found it! New Line can do everything from building a home to renovations! I could go on and on, but you save yourself some time and give New Line Construction a call, you wonâ  t be disappointed!"

Interior Design and Decorating questions, answered by experts

Balancing aesthetics with functionality amidst space planning is important. To do so, you could consider consulting both an interior designer and an architect to fulfill both these needs. Or you can tackle it on your own by prioritizing personal touches amidst space planning that add to the look but don't take away from the livability of the space.

The main difference between a home stager and an interior designer is that the former creates temporary, generally appealing spaces, while the latter creates personalized design choices for your permanent home. A home stager seeks to depersonalize your home while also showing off the best features of the home to potential buyers. An interior designer works with you to infuse your personal style into the decor in your home. You’ll typically only hire a local home stager when selling your home.

How long it takes a kitchen designer to complete their work ranges greatly, from just a few hours, to a couple of weeks. Their timeline depends on how complex the design is and the scope of your kitchen remodel. Some remodels are aesthetic and can be as simple as adding new countertops or different cabinets. Those designs will take less time than, for instance, a full gut of your kitchen with a whole new layout and all new appliances.

A hearth often looks like a tile or brick floor that juts out from and surrounds your fireplace. A hearth can be made of stone, brick, ceramic, or any other fireproof material. Brick offers a classic and traditional vibe, whereas a hearth made of marble or ceramic may lean more toward modern aesthetics. The most common depth of a hearth is 20 inches.

Designing a building takes 2-6 months, depending on project size, required permits, and revisions.
