I am looking for a primary dentist. I was doing research to find one that suits my needs. I was able to ask questions of the staff and they were very friendly and courteous. The only reason I didn't choose to schedule an appointment is because I found a dentist in my network and was a bit closer to home. That said, if I decide that I don't like my choice, I would strongly consider going to this provider for any future dental needs.

What impresses me about him is that he is the only dentist I have ever met who gives pain free treatment. I hate dentists, and have been to many throughout the years. I feared going to the dentist, but I don't fear going to him. His office staff is extremely friendly, so that you feel like you are family. After he took xrays, he sat and talked to me about what I needed and what the options were. I feel like he is a friend, instead of just my dentist. I feel like he is looking out for me instead of just trying to make money off of me. I think his prices are a little bit high.

We started taking our son to Dr. Rye, and everything seemed fine. We'd have regular appointments for teeth cleaning and (as necessary) fillings. We started seeing Dr. Rye in his previous, shared facilities . . . and they were OK. During this period, Dr. Rye built his new offices which are very nice. His "bedside manner" is good, and his staff are OK. There were recurring problems getting the billing straight, but that didn't deter us. What happened, though, is that our son started complaining of an ache in his mouth. A toothache, he thought. Pretty uncomfortable but not excruciating. We saw Dr. Rye. He took X-rays and saw nothing. The pain persisted coming and going, though, and we returned. He again examined our son's mouth and then suggested grinding down some teeth . . . maybe the pain was caused by an irregular bite. That seemed unlikely to us, but he's the doctor so we agreed. That didn't help. The pain continued. This was over a period of months. I think (but am not sure) that another set of X-rays were taken. If they were, they didn't show anything. The pain was getting worse. My wife finally took our son to her dentist. He took some X-rays and quickly diagnosed the problem. It turned out that there was a gap between one of my son's fillings and the tooth itself. The new dentist quickly fixed the problem--I guess with a new filling that eliminated the gap--and the problem was solved. I don't know why the X-rays that Dr. Rye took didn't show the problem, or what the new dentist did that was different. But the point is that this was a fairly basic issue and--with hindsight being 20/20, of course--a fairly logical explanation. In retrospect, we subjected our son to several months of unnecessary pain because (1) Dr. Rye had performed other services competently, and (2) we were impressed by his "bedside manner" and his facilities.

Dr. Rye always addressed the choices involved, helped to decide my dental priorities, and indeed performed a painless and professional job at each visit. Prompt, gracious staff made the experience as pleasant as dental work can possibly be!!

Dr Rye and his entire staff have always taken good care of my wife and I us and we feel they have treated us like they would treat their own family members. Dr Rye has also recently started seeing and caring for our young daughter. We were a little concerned with how she would respond to having to see Dr Rye for the recent filling of a cavity, but Dr Rye took care of her and set her at ease. Our daughter does usually do well with seeing Doctors, etc., but to our surprise, she did not even squirm. We appreciate the great service. Overall, we have been greatly pleased with their services, prefessionalism, availability, and pricing. Kep up the good work "Smiles for Life".

He is great, they are awesome. It is very easy to get an appointment with Dr. Rye.

Dr. Rye was the second dentist I spoke to regarding an implant. The first dentist/surgeon stated that I needed a sinus lift. Dr. Rye uses more advanced x-ray technology and determined that I had enough bone for the implant without having to have a sinus lift. I had a consultation with Dr. Rye and discussed my overall objectives with respect to my dental concerns/issues. I also needed to have sedation dentistry. The day before the implant proceedure, I broke another crown. I phoned his office, and he arranged for the broken crown to be removed and prepared for a new crown along with the implant and new filling. The whole process went very well. I have been back to have the permanent crown put in place. He and his staff were very reassuring and took all my concerns, fears, etc to heart to make sure I was comfortable. The oral sedation was very helpful to me. Dr. Rye's services are not inexpensive, however, he uses the latest technology and has outstanding, well-trained staff which is highly important. In my opinion, his services are well worth it, as it is an investment in my overall dental health. I will continue to utilize his services.

I have been going to Dr. Rye for the past few years, where my first experience was to have a couple of root canals performed. After those were completed I noticed a significant reduction in the headaches I had been having, confirming for me that dental health does affect other areas of health/well-being. I subsequently had extensive cosmetic work done (which was the real reason I went to Dr. Rye in the first place) and the results are beautiful. I am now in the process of having some periodontal work done. In all procedures, Dr. Rye is extremely patient, takes his time to explain what he is doing and why, and gives you the information you need to make decisions. He is extremely expert in the technical aspect of dentistry but has an equally keen artistic eye for the cosmetic aspect. With all his expertise and knowledge, Dr. Rye still listens to my (perfection-driven) concerns and genuinely makes every reasonable effort to accommodate them - especially the cosmetic stuff. Dr. Rye?s services are a little pricey (although I haven?t checked around, so they may well be in line with other dentists in the area), but the costs are explained up front. And you get what you pay for. The entire staff is friendly, professional and proficient at what they do, and I?ve always had the sense they enjoy their work and enjoy being a part of Dr. Rye?s practice. I would highly recommend Dr. Rye.

I like that he takes the time to listen. He is an excellently trained cosmetic dentist as well as general dentists. I have been going to him since 98 and I have had a lot of work done.

He is very professional and has a great personality. He is excellent in what he does and he has a great staff. Everything has been fine.

He is very meticulous and tries to give the highest level of care to his patients. He has a good chair manner and communicates well with me. His office staff is also very friendly.

I see him once every five months now. He has a very good reputation here, is a good family man, a good person and most importantly a great dentist. He is very funny calming, has a beautiful office and he is very punctual. The people at his office are lovely.
