"My kitchen while some what functional was (to be honest) ugly. A friend recommended Anthony (Custom built and Painted) and when I called he sounded professional, knowledgeable, and was able to meet to give an estimate within a couple of days. His estimate was written in a very easy to read manner with all cost and options spelled out in plan English. He did not hesitate to answer any question I had and he was not pushy when "selling". When he cam in the first day to start the work he laid down drop cloths and hung plastic in the kitchen doorways to avoid tracking in dirt and spreading dust through out the house.

While in was a little inconvenient to lose my kitchen for a week (I really didn't mind not cooking that much!) the end results were well worth it. The price was a little higher than I had originally planned but after adding in a pull out spice rack and a few extra cabinets I was happy with it. He also finished removing the old nasty wallpaper we had inherited from the previous owners (I had tried but stopped when I started to get more wall than paper off) and patched and painted the walls. You can't even  tell where my attempt at home improvement was.

After he was finished and had removed all of his tools he even cleaned my kitchen (I can't even get my husband to do that :) to remove any leftover dust. He and his guys were very polite and respectful of my home (no trash or tools left laying around at the end of the day, they did not go into other parts of the house, etc.) the entire time they were there (about a week). From start to finish they did what they promised to do in the time frame quoted. Overall I was very happy with  the service and would highly recommend them to anyone!"

"The main house re-roofing went fine. The carport/storage shed flat roof, not so good. The initial project, remove old roof, bad plywood and wood joists, replace with 30lb paper and 5v metal, well. After the first rain, leaks were discovered. The contractor came back and replaced the 30lb felt with ice and snow shield and re-screwed down the metal. A couple of good rains and the roof still leaks. Not a big leak, but little leaks turn into big ones and then major repair.
I have tried to get them to come back out to repair the very minor leak for at least 6 weeks now, and all I have gotten from them is lip/text service. It will take me more time to write this negative review about their poor customer service
 then it will to make the repair!!! By the way,  the roof repair is only about 3-4 months old.

"Our basement bathroom was in poor shape and we decided to remodel it after our basement was flooded.  Rene removed the old plastic tub surround and the moldy wallboard behind it, replacing it with the proper waterproof backing board.  He also removed original tile remaining around some sections around the tub.  This last task necessitated extending the baseboard around previously tiled sections of the wall.  Rene and his crew also removed the original tub fittings (all leaking), opened the wall and replaced the plumbing and fittings.  No more leaks!  We selected a plain and inexpensive tile but Rene made it look elegant by laying the floor on the diagonal and installing it around the tub in a brick pattern. Everything was caulked and sealed, and looks great!  He replaced the sink faucet with an updated model, installed a new shower rod and then painted the entire bathroom. He even cleaned off several decades of yellowing silicone caulk from around the tub, making it look new again.   While he was on the job we also asked him to make several small repairs in the basement.  There didn't seem to be anything he couldn't accomplish.  Rene was very punctual and extremely neat.  He took great care in all of his work and cleaned up very thoroughly at the end of each work day.  He was very responsive to our requests and he and his crew were always very pleasant to work with.  We hope to work with him again.

"It was through the big deal.  It was particularly a challenging job because we have wire shelving and the washer as well as the drier is kept there.  We didn't want them to be removed and he did an excellent job.  I was really pleased with the work he did.  He was very thorough and had an eye for detail.  I could have done it but I didn't want to paint around those wires.  I actually gave him the option of not painting behind the washer and the drier but he asked if I'd help him move the units out and he painted all the way down to the trim.  I recommend him.  I got a discount but I guess even the normal price would have been a fair price.  I didn't compare and shop with other painting companies.  I thought it was a good deal.  They got back to me but sometimes it took a couple of hours for them to respond."
