"They cussed out my neighbor and tried starting an altercation because he asked them not to block the road so he could return home. They drove all over my neighbors yard leaving ruts and drops of asphalt behind. When I called to discuss it the lady was hostile and argumentative and hung up on me after also swearing. The damage was very minimal but the attitude and lack of professionalism was extreme. Hire at your own risk."

Building a road on a slope requires careful planning and will normally require a drainage system underneath to prevent flooding and damage to the road over time. Your professional may lengthen your road to create switchbacks if the slope directly to your home is too steep, as there are regulations for maximum road slope. Asphalt is made of aggregate materials (sand, rocks, and gravel) and bitumen, a viscous, petroleum-based, waterproof substance. These materials are mixed together at extremely high temperatures to form asphalt.
