When I had my furnace & air conditioner replaced last year, YES failed to mention that Carrier (both my heater & AC were Carrier brands) was running a promotion that if you replaced both a furnace & an AC system with Carrier products, they would give you a cash rebate of $2,500. YES HVAC simply did not inform me of the company rebate program; instead, they just took the money from me without my knowledge. I eventually found out about the rebate later when I replaced the second full system in our house. Obviously I went with another more transparent/honest company the second go around. When I discussed the situation with YES management (even providing them with the written proof from Carrier Company of the rebate program), I still have heard nothing further from YES. My suggestion is to go with the competition rather than YES HVAC; it cost me a $2,500 rebate, what will they scam you out of?"

He was polite and professional, but would swipe past all of the verbiage on his tablet straight to the signature block, repeatedly reassuring us of what it said and that it was a payment plan. Months later, after repeatedly asking for payoff information, we learned it was actually a lease that would cost nearly double what we were quoted. We felt completely misled and taken advantage of, and it was incredibly frustrating to realize the truth only after months of trying to get answers. This felt dishonest and manipulative. If you still choose to use them, be very cautious and double-check everything they do and say, because there?s a good chance they could be doing the same thing to you."

"Smoke and mirrors - We were having trouble with our furnace turning on and wanted a tune-up while they were here. Told - Yes we can come out and look and it and do a tune-up for $79.00 Truth - Service call $79.00; Tune-up $120 additional charge Told: Problem/Part will cost $691.00 and we will send and invoice. Also we will wave the $79.00 service call fee but if you want it expedited it may cost you, we are not sure, about $79.00 - we will send an invoice. Yes, we wanted it expedited. Truth: Invoice sent said: $691.00 for part - nothing else! Told: We can have the part by Thursday or Friday and install it then. Truth: We called on Friday after not hearing from them on Thursday and they said we think we are booked until at least Monday but that they would check and they would call us back. (Since we had been seen earlier in the week and we were just waiting for the part they didn't stock, we should have been on their schedule!) Truth: Never called back and after 3 phone calls from us to them, with time between, they finally said they had had some cancellation and could make it out. After the work was done, we finally got our first detailed invoice for $845.00. The furnace is now working fine and we appreciate it, but we will not be using Walker's again."
