"Junk Jr came the next day, quoted on the removal and hauled it away. It cost more than I had hoped, but it was a lot of stuff. I was away on a business trip and did not meet them at the property, but the service was super fast and efficient."

"Handyman services reached out to me based upon my ad on Craig’s list. James refinished my deck and added in an outlet behind my TV. The whole project took a few days and I was impressed of his punctuality and attention to detail (he even let me help a little when I had time). I would hire him again and highly recommend his services Rod"

"TAMI AND HER TEAM ARE AMAZING I HAVE FIVE KIDS AND THREE DOGS AND ON THE DAYS THAT SHE COMES WHEN I RETURN FROM WORK IT SO PEACE AND RELAXING TO COME AND FEEL JUST FOR A MIN. THAT I DONT HAVE THE MESS TO WORRY ABOUT THEY ALWAYS GO ABOVE AND BEYOND AND ALWAYS LEAVE ME A NOTE OF ANYTHING THEY HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT OR ANY TIPS SHE HAS FOR ME. I ALWAYS LEAVE HER A NOTE WHEN I WANT MORE ATTENTION ON ONE THING OR ANOTHER AND THEY ALWAYS EXCEED MY EXPECTATIONS. I ORIGINALLY HIRED CUSTOMIZED CLEANING FOR A ONE TIME DEEP CLEAN AND CARPET CLEANING OF THE HOLE HOUSE AND THEY DID SUCH A GREAT JOB I HIRED THEM FOR A WEEKLY CLEAN AND I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE. "As we recently moved out of our house we booked them through Schedulicity for a whole house cleaning, received confimation emails and tried to get a hold of them on the phone. They didn't show and I can't get a hold of them on the phone. They haven't returned phone calls in 2 weeks. I went with a different company and I wouldn't use again."

Garage Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

If you also have a standard door leading to your garage, install a robust deadbolt lock and reinforce the frame with security plates. Then, secure any windows with shatterproof glass or film to deter break-ins. Consider a smart garage door opener for your car entrance, enabling remote monitoring and control through your smartphone. Motion-activated lighting around the garage to deter intruders is a great way to amplify these security efforts. Lastly, educate your family on security practices, such as keeping the garage entrances closed and locked.

We recommend plywood and solid wood. Particleboard and MDF (medium-density fiberboard) are often too weak to hold significant loads, and could sag or deform under pressure. Plywood or solid wood are meant to last, and can handle the weight of several large items. If you want to spend a little more for a moisture-resistant material, you can consider using steel.

The most common garage door material is aluminum, but the best material for you depends on your budget and location. Wood is the most expensive to repair but tends to add the most curb appeal, while fiberglass or composite doors cost less to fix.

Aluminum won’t rust, so it’s a great option if you live somewhere humid or rainy. Steel doors are durable but are prone to rust. If you live somewhere with extreme temperatures, hot or cold, you might opt for fiberglass, which won’t split if the temperatures skyrocket or drop below freezing.

You should let your initial paint job dry at least 12 hours before opening the door. Check your work after 12 hours have passed to confirm there are no uneven patches, or signs of the old paint showing though—if you see any, we recommend applying a second coat of paint and waiting an additional 12 hours for it to dry.

Garage door freezing is prompted by snowfall and freeze/thaw cycles instead of the temperature. If you get a lot of moisture around the garage door, whether from rain or melting snow, and temperatures quickly drop below freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit) at night, that’s a recipe for a frozen garage door. Winters with steep temperature drops overnight are more likely to create this problem, especially low temperatures to sustain a freeze, so weather in the lower 20s is a common culprit.
