"Junk Jr came the next day, quoted on the removal and hauled it away. It cost more than I had hoped, but it was a lot of stuff. I was away on a business trip and did not meet them at the property, but the service was super fast and efficient."

"Handyman services reached out to me based upon my ad on Craig’s list. James refinished my deck and added in an outlet behind my TV. The whole project took a few days and I was impressed of his punctuality and attention to detail (he even let me help a little when I had time). I would hire him again and highly recommend his services Rod"

"As we recently moved out of our house we booked them through Schedulicity for a whole house cleaning, received confimation emails and tried to get a hold of them on the phone. They didn't show and I can't get a hold of them on the phone. They haven't returned phone calls in 2 weeks. I went with a different company and I wouldn't use again."

Garage Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

You can put sliding doors on your garage, but it’ll save you money if you install them when you’re building the garage, so you avoid removal costs for the old door. Garage doors are sectional, using vertical tracks and large springs to lift the door. These require professional removal, and the cost can quickly add up to thousands of dollars.

Garage door screens can expand your living space, turning a garage into a home office, gym, or entertainment space. They provide comfortable ventilation, insect control, and privacy, allowing you to enjoy your space all year round. Consult a local garage door screen installer to add this feature to your space.

Garage door insulation can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years depending on the type of insulation. Cellulose has the shortest lifespan coming in at between 20 and 30 years, while spray foam, mineral wool, and fiberglass can last between 80 and 100 years with proper maintenance.

Humidity plays a role in how long more susceptible insulation materials—like fiberglass—last. Once fiberglass batts reach the 15-year mark, you'll need to routinely inspect your insulation to ensure that it is in mint order.

If you take caution around fragile garage parts, thawing methods shouldn’t cause problems. Avoid using direct sources of heat too close to the garage door, especially rubber parts.

Another spot to avoid heating is the garage door spring. This powerful metal spring can become very cold in winter. Applying heat to a cold spring increases the chances it could break.

Garage doors are heavy and close under power, so ensuring they're safe should be one of the priorities of a homeowner. Installing at least one sensor is a good start, but it doesn't hurt to have two, especially considering you can install a secondary system for less than $100. Remember that sensors require calibration and simple but regular maintenance checks— installing them is only the first step.
