We manufacture Advanced Energy Panels (AEPs). AEPs are a retrofit for historic windows or any window people can't afford or don’t wish to replace. AEPs are interior window insulating panels and can be installed in any building –office, home or industrial. AEPs have a higher insulation and air sealing rating and provide greater comfort than most replacement windows, yet they are a fraction of the cost. AEPs are custom made to fit over existing openings, protecting, preserving and improving your existing windows.

For over 60 years, Staker Parson Companies has worked to be The Preferred Source of quality sand, rock & landscape products, ready-mixed concrete, asphalt, paving, and construction serving a wide variety of contractors, businesses, government agencies, municipalities, and homeowners. Staker Parson Companies was formed in 2001 when Staker Paving and Construction Company and Jack B. Parson Companies became partners. Staker Parson Companies’ rich history began over 60 years ago. In 1927, a fifteen-year-old boy boarded a train and headed off to help his father build roads. That summer’s experience developed into a lifelong passion for Jack B. Parson. After learning to operate every piece of equipment in the fleet, he was promoted to foreman, and gained a wealth of experience in the construction business. In 1952, Jack founded Jack B. Parson Companies in Smithfield, Utah, and the company grew to become one of the largest rock product producers and contractors in the region. In 1969, Stuart, Val, and Gordon Staker founded Staker Paving and Construction Co. Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah. From its humble beginning, Staker Paving & Construction grew to become Utah’s largest asphalt producer and placer. Staker’s Beck Street asphalt plant in Salt Lake City is one of the nation’s top-producing asphalt plants. Now we are the Intermountain Region’s leading construction materials and services provider employing 2,000 people at more than fifty locations in Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, Montana, Colorado, Wyoming, and Arizona. Sunrooms and Patios questions, answered by experts

A solarium is a luxury addition to a home and can be an excellent breakfast area or reading space, but that doesn't mean there aren't disadvantages. For one, since the room is made of glass it can look dirty very quickly. Another disadvantage is solariums are notoriously hard to balance temperature and will most likely significantly increase your heating and air conditioning bill. Unlike a greenhouse addition to a house, a solarium won’t help you grow as many plants.

Sunrooms are highly customizable and are built in a variety of configurations. The size and type will largely determine the overall cost of the project. Some of the most common types of sunrooms include:

  • Three-season room: $10,000–$40,000

  • Four-season room: $25,000–$80,000

  • Glass solarium: $30,000–$75,000

  • Conservatory or garden room: $5,000–$80,000

  • Atrium: $10,000–$35,000

  • Prefabricated sunroom: $5,500–$30,000

A prefab sunroom will last for between 10 and 20 years in most cases, although you could get up to 50 years out of a high-quality prefab sunroom. In addition to material quality, your prefab sunroom’s lifespan will depend on the foundation type and the climate in your area. Extreme weather and expansive soil can decrease the expected life.

By tailoring materials and colors to match architectural styles.

A deck is typically attached to a house and accessed via the back door. Decks are usually constructed from wood or composite materials. A terrace, on the other hand, is a raised platform that can be attached to or detached from the house and is typically made from a hard-paved material, such as paving stones. Terraces can be built on the ground or on the roof of a home.
