Our point of contact was Gary Courtright who did an excellent job in communicating, estimating, and coordinating the repairs and roofing shingle replacement for our rather large and expansive home in Fruit Heights, Utah, where in some years, the canyon winds through our town can exceed 100 MPH.  After 25 satisfactory years on our old roof, we contracted Kimball to complete some extensive roofing plywood repairs, re-flashing, re-membraning, and re-edging of the entire 6,000 SF roof.  Per Gary's expert advice, plus Louie and Rohojolo outstanding installation, we ended up with a very attractive and fully sealed roof that will probably last twice as long as our previous roof.  We now have a Tamko 50 year architectural shingled and ridged roof that can now withstand winds up to 150 MPH.  SUPER. JOB WELL DONE !

"I had a toilet in my basement that I could not get to work properly. I wasn't sure if plumbing and toilets were something they could do, but they were more than happy to come in and reset the toilet and get it working. Since snowfall can range from light powder to heavy and condensed snow, part of the price of roof snow removal depends on the amount and type of snow. For 12 inches of snow, you can expect to pay between $200 and $2,000 for this job. However, for 24 inches of snow, that price rises to $300 to $3,000.

It’s the reverse of home de-winterization. To winterize, you purge your plumbing system (including your water heater and all piping) of water. Some experts also recommend filling fixtures with an antifreeze solution. Other tasks involve winterizing sprinklers, sealing foundation vents, check weatherproofing around doors and windows, and more.

If you’re struggling to find anything else suitable in your cupboards, a vinegar and water ice melt makes for a passable quick fix. Keep in mind that wind chill and other factors impact ice-melting progress. Some ice melters, like magnesium chloride, work at colder temperatures and work better for deep winter freezes.
