"For starters, these guys are a breath of fresh air! It is really hard to find an honest security company these days, that isnt trying to sell you on things you dont need or lock you into a lifetime contract. I had these guys install my camera system that I bought online about a year ago. The installation was great! Unfortunately, the equipment, not so much.. (sshpros did warn me that the system was not the greatest, but I had them sitting in my garage for way too long to return). After having a ton of issues with cameras going black, night vision not working, and getting replacements from Lorex, I was about fed up. So I called the owner, Kyle, to see if he could send someone back out to take a look. He came out to my place himself and was able to diagnose some issues likely to do with the recorder, not the cameras themselves. He did not charge me for coming out and even provided a free estimate for a new full security system that he recommended would work much better. It was a bit beyond our budget, but he gave us a discount for using them in the past and even more discounts since all of the cable had been ran. I am so happy we decided to go for it and we want to sing Security and Smarthome Pros praises to all of our neighbors! One thing that stood out to me is that they dont require any contracts which put me at ease when spending money on a system like this. We have enjoyed our system so much, we ended up adding a ton of Smart Home equipment as well and everything has worked flawlessly! I originally called ADT Security to set up a system in my home and was sub contracted out to Protect Your Home which is but ISN'T ADT. I greatly feel like I was rushed through my phone call and things were not clearly explained. My home owners insurance actually went up! USAA is supposed to get a discount with ADT however since it was subcontracted out without my realization I will not be receiving a discount on my monthly bill. They push PULSE like nothing else and make you feel like you are basically under attack. "What if the phone lines are cut?"  I wasn't aware when I had my install done that I would be paying about $500 for the equipment till after it had been put on. I am overall frustrated beyond belief thinking here I had security done for the betterment of my home insurance and that because I was "using" a company USAA recommends I was going to be getting a great deal and it would be a win win situation. Little did I know I would feel like I had been duped and double talked. I am not a happy customer at all. That said the install guy was great and nice I would just make sure YOU really NEED the security as I have found it may not be all it is cracked up to be and then you are stuck in a contract and hundreds of dollars invested.

"About 4 years ago I need my home protected by something other than my dog while I was not home looking for a job. I needed something affordable, simple to use and install my self as my house was not prewired. I found Protect America and it had all I needed and more. Over the years I have added to my system more sensors, motion detectors, camera's, carbon monoxide sensor, and monitored smoke detectors. All of it was simple enough to do with some help with their Installation Technician walking me though everything on the phone. I have had other companies try to get me to switch to them, but what I have works and they could not beat the price so I told them no thanks."

"Very professional and rapid service! I had a trip coming up and I wanted to install a security system before going away. They accommodated my timeline and were very helpful. The installer was very knowledgeable and recommended what would be best for my home layout. The pricing over the phone (and email) wasn't the same offer as the person that came to my home, so be advised to check that, as the systems don't seem to propagate very well. I am still trying to get the original pricing applied. Overall, I would recommend them, but hoping they deal well with the price adjustment."
