"If you’re looking for a contractor who’s fair, upfront, and someone who’s looking to go above and beyond, Brad is your guy. I hired him to take on a small project, cutting a hole in my foundation for an egress window. I’m fortunate enough to have a decent amount of experience in the trades and Brad’s pricing was fair and well priced. He was willing to help me with a smaller project that most contractors would pass on. I was surprised, he was extremely attentive and asked many questions to ensure that the job was done exactly how I wanted it. Before he started the job and charged me, he ensured that the window I had bought would fit correctly, that I had bought all the right materials to do the job after he made the cuts, and measured multiple times inside and outside prior to cutting. I felt very confident the job was going to go well and after everything it was perfect. He even made sure the window fit and I was satisfied. I can’t say enough good things about this guy."

"The hardwood floors in our property were really in bad shape after been rented for several years and I didn’t think anyone could fixed the damage. When Chris Geoff came to give us the estimate, he was so confident that he could bring back the beauty of our floors that I think, it was the main factor to choose them for the job. I have never been so happy with a contractor in my life, the job that Chris did was AMAZINGLY beautiful. He was 100% right, my floors are so smooth and beautiful that you can appreciate the grain of the wood. Before sanding the floors, Francisco (Paco) Del Angel removed all the baseboards and replaced them with new ones after Chris finished with the floors, and he also did an amazing job. They both treated our place with care and cleaned everything before leaving. I recommend these contractors 100% and thank them for an outstanding job."

Excavating questions, answered by experts

If you have a broken sprinkler pipe underground, there will be some signs you can easily spot to locate it and take action. These include leaks, water spouts, flooding, consistently damp areas on your lawn, low water pressure, and grass around the sprinkler head that’s taller and darker than anywhere else in the yard.

If there are no obvious signs of a broken pipe, you can use tools such as water leak mics, leak noise loggers, audio devices that record leaks, and acoustic testing links.

Broken pipes can lead to uneven watering, plant damage, and higher utility bills. The longer you wait to fix them the more the repair cost may be.

You should dig 3 to 6 inches deep for plastic edging. Dig as wide as you need to fit your plastic edging into it—2 inches is usually sufficient.

Yes, trenchers can go through gravel. Gravel is made up of smaller, softer rocks that certain trenchers are able to cut through. Just be sure to use a rock wheel trencher or chain trencher, both of which are made to cut through rocky landscapes and gravel pathways without dulling the teeth or chain.

Consultation with the local government helps identify necessary permits, avoid project delays or legal issues, and protect project integrity.

Call 811 to locate and mark the gas lines at least three days before digging. In many areas, you can dig within 18 inches of the lines, though in some locations, the distance may be further. Check local regulations, as you may need a utility company representative onsite when digging. Document your calls to 811 and precautions taken to avoid gas lines. A homeowner can be held liable for hitting a gas line in some cases, but contacting the proper authorities and following all guidelines can offer protection.
