"AR Coston Landscaping fixed an existing brick paver walkway that had significant settling issues. Also reset the entire edge of our patio with a cement base that replaced the old failing plastic edge. Their work was very detailed and precise. It made our patios and walkway between look better than new. I would hire them again!"

"We had an awesome experience working with TMV Concrete! Tali (owner) and his crew were professional and did amazing work. We hired TMV initially for a concrete driveway and we loved their work so we ended up adding a patio and a new wall to our back yard. We absolutely love it and have recommended Tali to many of our friends and families. He was so easy to work with definitely worth every penny invested. Thank you for bringing our vision to life. Will definitely work with TMV again."

"My back yard patio has been an eye sore for 13 years. We have tried to improve it through the years but nothing satisfied my wants. Everything we tried failed! After the last failure I reached out to 3 contractors. The first contractor had a great bid that I was willing to go with. 15 minutes later another contractor showed up and beat that bid, I had an instant connection with Isreal and decided he was our choice. They started the next day and had cement layed after the weekend. I had doubts as they were smoothing it out, but WOW after the powder coating and stamping!!! I am thrilled with the job of these guys! AMAZING is all I can say! I highly recommend A&I Concrete! Thank you Isreal! Please thank your helpers for us, GREAT JOB GUYS!"

"I needed someone to put down a concrete patio for me. I had been given names of 3 local companies that people highly recommended. After contacting each for a bid, I was told from each company they would be out within the week to give a quote. Not one representative from any of the companies showed up. I decided to try Angiâ s website and within 30 minutes of placing my â help wantedâ information, I was contacted by Kano from AAA Quality Concrete and within two hours of that initial contact he was at my house and was able to give me an estimate. I feel the cost was comparable to what others have told me they paid for concrete work, but at this point I was impressed simply because of the response time I was provided. Fast forwardâ ¦the patio is now complete and it looks fantastic! The crew that was here were professional and courteous. When they left after the work was completed, the work area was left clean without a sign they were here except for the new patio. I would definitely use this company again and would recommend to those needing quality concrete work."

Patios questions, answered by experts

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it meets certain criteria. For instance, it must be completely enclosed with solid walls and a roof. It should also have a heating and cooling source similar to the rest of the home. Finally, the porch should have direct access to and from the interior of your house.

Building a sunroom is usually less expensive than the cost of building a home addition, but it depends on the type of sunroom. A four-season sunroom will cost more than a home addition because it’s basically a home addition with larger, more expensive windows. All other types of sunrooms will be more affordable than a home addition of an equivalent size because they don’t have insulation, heating, cooling, electrical connections, or plumbing.

Your maintenance needs revolve around the type of foundation you choose, as well as how you furnish or decorate it. Patios require little else other than the occasional hose-down, but decks and other wooden structures will require annual power washing and sealing. You may also need to restain the wood every two to three years.

Adding a solid roof rather than building a pergola or leaving the space open will make maintenance much easier. Without a roof, you will need to spend more time sweeping, washing, and covering your furniture to protect it from UV bleaching.

Yes, enclosing a patio to create a sunroom or three-season room is often a good idea that adds value to your home. This project increases your home's usable square footage and creates a versatile space for relaxing or entertaining that is filled with natural light and can be used in various weather conditions. Homeowners may see an average return on investment (ROI) of around 70%. The final value added will depend on factors such as the quality of the materials, the level of finish, and the amount of yard space that remains after the enclosure.

A covered deck can be a good investment that increases your home value—especially if you live in a hot region with a lot of sun. A covering over the deck means you can get more use out of it, even on the hottest summer days. With a permanent deck covering, you can even add ceiling fans to help cool down your deck for added comfort.
