"I do not normally leave reviews but I was so impressed with the level of service and professionalism that John from Thoro-clene provided I thought it needed to be recognized. I found Thoroclene because of the high number of positive reviews they had already received and they did not disappoint. We had several puppy pet stains and a soda explosion in our new home. John came in and went through each room with us. (UVlight was eye opening! :) In very short order he explained what the stain removals would require and what treatment was needed then he went to work. He finished the entire home in under 3 hours from start to finish and it looks amazing. I would highly recommend their services to anyone and will definitely use them in the future if needed. Either way, it’s best to avoid paler shades, like white and cream, which get dirty easily.

Squeaking floors don’t usually pose an immediate safety risk. It can be the result of normal settlement, changes in humidity, or natural wear. Uneven or warped floors do pose a trip risk, so you should call a pro for a repair. This is especially true if you notice visible signs of rot or deterioration. Rarely, a creaking floor can signal structural issues, but there are usually other signs.

While many hardwood floors can last decades with proper maintenance, choosing a harder wood type, like hickory, can help extend the life span of your hardwood floors and reduce the amount of maintenance needed to keep them looking new and shiny. Softer hardwoods, like walnut, may not last quite as long as other types.
