"Guiellermo and his team did a thoroughly professional job for a fair price. I need the entire interior of my house painted, ceilings, closets, doors, baseboards, the works. They removed blinds, electrical plates, lighting fixtures, old wallpaper basically everything necessary to do a clean, nice paint job. They prepped everything beautifully which made the final result look exactly how I wanted it to look. I look forward to hiring them again to paint the outside!"

"I was very impressed with the man from Pro Twins Painting Company. I excepted his estimate, but there are a couple of repairs we need to get done before they can actually start the painting job."

Small jobs welcome

"I was worried about hiring an outside company to paint and to pay 1/2 upfront. JOSE CHAVEZ assured me he was trustworthy.we shook hands. At the end of the job we hugged. He gave me an excellent job. He was careful nothing was ruined. His crew did more than what was required. I will hire Jose Chavez next time."

"Elliot was excellent to work with and does excellent work. He gave us a fair bid and did what he said he would do. He went above and beyond in our garage on patching and repair. He prides himself in doing the job right! He is pleasant to be around and pays attention to detail and knows the right products to use to get the best results. We would recommend Elliot to friends and family for interior and exterior painting services."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Penetrating sealer seeps into concrete pores to protect it from moisture and staining, cracking, and mold caused by water. This means you cannot remove penetrating sealers like topical sealers. The good news is that penetrating sealant doesn’t have to be removed before resealing, as most topical sealers must. Instead, you’ll want to buy a compatible penetrating sealant (often the same kind already in the concrete) and apply it. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Scrape softened caulk with a putty knife or slice hardened caulk with a utility knife. Hard-to-remove caulk generally requires more time exposed to a softening solution, like a commercial product or rubbing alcohol. A few hours to a day later, the softened caulk will come off with the help of common household tools. In many cases, you can grab needle-nosed pliers for caulk with multiple old layers and pull the material off its base.

A natural paint remover for metal is a solution of 16 parts water and one part baking soda or vinegar. When heated on your stovetop, these non-toxic household items combine into a highly effective solution that can be used to remove paint from small metal objects with tricky nooks and crannies.

You can find chemical and naturally derived paint thinners to remove paint without as much sanding. A heat gun or pressure washer can also remove paint from large areas. However, sanding is often the best way to remove the final bits of paint that remain on the surface.

You can apply waterproofing over paint, but you won't get as much protection as you would if you painted the surface with a waterproof paint from the get-go. Not all waterproofing methods are compatible with painted surfaces, and they may not adhere well. This is especially true if the paint is glossy, old, or flaking. Waterproofing sealers are primarily meant to be applied to porous surfaces, like concrete, wood, or brick.
