I’ve worked in construction since 2016 straight out of high school I currently work for a construction contractor but I am looking to take on other projects and continue to make customers proud , I’m very flexible, reliable and responsive. Very easy to get along with. The company that I currently work for understands that I do side projects, and supports it. U can look us up @ Quality Remodel San Antonio “QRSA” on google. "I hired US Next led by Jorge for a wall remodel project. He was well organized, flexible, good communicator and overall did an amazing job. He listened to all the little needs we had, was very helpful, provided options and gave a detailed pricing upfront. He also made sure to protect our house, covered the work area and cleaned up nicely after he finished. I definitely recommend Jorge and his team, thank you!"

"Great! They arrived at the time they promised. They were careful around my shrubs. The brick and siding of the house looked great and I was shocked at the difference having the driveway pressure washed made. I have asked them to contact me every 6 months to have it done again."

"L&N Services has helped me for over five years with multiple handyman projects including but not limited to carpentry work, painting, window resealing, cleaning, moving, organizing, holiday decor, garage door repair, lawn and pool care, power washing and general plumbing. L&N is very dependable and honest in their work. They are always on time, have an extremely high work ethic, and charge very reasonable rates. L&N is respectful of my home, possessions and respectful to me and my family as well. L&N has set very high expectations for themselves and are very detail oriented which is continually impressive to me. They are creative and will spend time researching a project that may be unfamiliar to them, always with positive results. I have been extremely happy with L&Nâ s work over the last five years and will continue to use them. It is hard to find quality people like L&N and once I found them I did not and do not want to ever let them go! I am glad to give any references, generally or project specific, for L&N Services."

Deck Maintenance questions, answered by experts

Decks require several inspections during and after the building process, but the specifics vary depending on where you live. Most areas mandate that decks comply with local building codes and safety regulations for the foundation, framing, and structure. Some pros recommend a footing inspection, which verifies the depth, width, and location of the various footings to ensure they offer enough foundational support.

Composite decking requires a solid foundation or substructure for support. This base is typically a frame composed of posts, beams, joists, and footings. The frame can be built from various materials, such as composite, plastic, timber, or metal, depending on your budget, deck type, and environmental conditions. For maximum stability, a professional deck builder may recommend installing this frame on top of a solid concrete base. It is best to discuss the most suitable substructure design and materials for your specific project with a professional.

The best base materials for a ground-level or floating deck are typically gravel and crushed stone (also known as landscaping rocks). These options are inexpensive, provide excellent drainage, prevent weeds, and help minimize moisture buildup, which reduces shifting and rotting. For added stability and to evenly distribute the weight, you can use concrete deck blocks or pavers. While more expensive, concrete blocks and pavers offer a sturdier base than gravel or crushed stone alone.

Yes, using sustainable materials and recycled composites offer green solutions.

A sunroom is worth installing on a deck, both for the value and your own enjoyment. A Florida room addition costs between $10,000 and $140,000, so it’s pretty expensive. However, a quality sunroom can offer a 50% return on investment, making your home more sellable. Plus, if it’s a space you and your family enjoy relaxing in daily for years to come, it’s worth the money, time, and effort, even without the added monetary value.
