Customers say: True professional

"Kris did a fantastic job clearing and leveling my lot as well as (at my request) constructing a wall, which was a little out his comfort zone at first but in the end the results were amazing. I would 100% hire him again. He was professional and had great communication throughout the duration of the project. His pricing was competitive and I can tell he takes pride in his work. Before we started the project Kris told me he wont leave the site until I am satisfied and he delivered on that promise."

"Marcus does excellent work. He's professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He knows what he's doing and did the work quickly and without any issues. He arrived early and had a pleasant demeanor the whole time. He used proper safety equipment and knew exactly how to approach the job of trimming back the limbs overhanging my roof in a safe and time efficient manner. This is easily the best experience I've had hiring outdoor help here in Abilene. Not only did he deliver on the job, but he provided me with an electronic receipt and photos so I could easily send them to my insurance company as proof the work has been completed so I can maintain my homeowner's insurance policy. I could not be more pleased with how smoothly everything went, and all for a reasonable rate to boot! I highly recommend him to anyone in need of tree trimming or lawn services."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Government regulations such as the EPA and OSHA govern lead removal procedures to ensure health and environmental safety during and after abatement.

You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.

  • What are your qualifications and experience removing lead-based paint?

  • Are you licensed and certified to remove lead-based paint?

  • How do you test for lead paint?

  • What methods do you use for lead-based paint abatement?

  • What do you plan to do with the hazardous material when you remove it from the home?

  • Do you do replacement and painting work or removal only?

If your roof was constructed between 1930 and 1970, there’s a possibility that the shingles contain asbestos. If that’s the case, you should hire a professional for repairs and replacement, as they’ll have the necessary equipment to stay safe from such a hazardous and cancer-causing substance. If your home was constructed after this period, it’s unlikely that the shingles in place are toxic. In most cases, asbestos shingles are not recyclable, while standard asphalt shingles are recyclable.

No, you can’t place hazardous waste in a dumpster unless you specifically ordered a dumpster for hazardous waste removal. If the dumpster company finds hazardous waste that it didn’t approve for dumping, the company will return the waste to you, and you’ll likely face a fine for illegal dumping.

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a chance that any paint on your hardwood floors could be lead paint—especially if it was already there when you moved in. Because lead is toxic, hiring a licensed pro to remove it is mandatory. The average price for professional lead paint removal ranges from $1,500 to $5,300 and depends on the scope of the project.
