"Austin and his crew were very friendly and acted on a professional level. They played crushed rock on my driveway that is great only thing is I wished they would have went over it with the roller a little more. Would recommend this company."

"I Had MTX Dirt Worx come out to give me an estimate on a pad for my barn, I was blown away with how great of a price they gave me! As soon as they showed up they got to work and didn’t stop till the job was done, turned out great from the dirt work to the concrete. MTX has gained a lifetime customer."

"Rey with J&R completed the work as requested despite some rain delays. We're pleased with the driveway and very disappointed with his failure to remove excess concrete. Small pieces surrounded driveway and concrete pad. It's taken weeks to remove it because only small amounts can be place in our city garbage. The concrete forms were also left behind. I contacted him 3 times after the work and he was totally unresponsive."

Driveway Sealcoating questions, answered by experts

There are more pros than cons, but there are a few disadvantages to sealing your driveway to be aware of. Sealant can make the surface slippery, which can be a hazard, especially when the driveway gets wet. Look for sealants with abrasive additives to help counteract this. You’ll also need to remember to reapply your sealant every two years and budget for the expense that comes with it.

Many services include sealing as part of the repair process. Confirm with your contractor.

Instead of a set number of types, asphalt comes in variations designed for different needs. Some are categorized by temperature—hot mix, warm mix, and cold mix. Others are sorted by composition, like dense-graded, gap-graded (such as Stone Matrix Asphalt), porous, and mastic asphalt. There are also modified versions with added compounds like polymers, rubber, or emulsions. Instead of focusing on a number, it may be more useful to understand how contractors customize asphalt for durability, climate, and traffic conditions.

Hot-pour sealants have an asphalt cement base that might also include rubber and other materials to allow the seal to flex in hot or cold temperatures. Asphalt emulsion sealants are not heated but are liquid applications that use water and an emulsifying agent to allow the asphalt and water to mix.

Common issues that require asphalt repair include cracking, potholes, surface crumbling, fading, uneven surfaces, weather-induced damage, and drainage problems. Regular maintenance is crucial for maintaining safety and aesthetics and can prevent more significant damage.
