Customers say: Super punctual

"Responsive and low cost. A little hard to get a document that says what will be performed, for how much. It was raining when they installed the drain and it was quite a mess, but what can you do....they were literally digging in the mud!"

"They had a pretty high rating on Angie's list and we did not have the good  experience with them that we had hoped. The sales consultant came out and explained the process. After the first contact, that was the last time we saw of  him even after we had questions about the work.    We were told that they would dig and put in the piers all in one day.  They were not able to do the piers the the day they said  because they were not able to get concrete but we were not informed till the day of the work.  Luckily we were able to be around two days later to moniter the work.  The workers that came out did a pretty good job. If you called the office about a question or the arrival of the workers they seemed to have no clue what was going on. It was not the customer service you expected.   A week later they came out and did the adjustment of the piers.   A disappointment  that we had with them was with our bushes. They removed the bushes and replaced them in different spots. We knew the possibility of losing our bushes but instead of putting the dirt and bushes back where they got them they just quickly filled in the holes. they had made nice piles of dirt with protecting the bushes in them.   They just put them anywhere that they could.   We tried to contact the company several time about setting up the hydrostatic test for our plumbing and they kept saying the plumber would contact us.  After three weeks finally they hired a plumbing service to call us and do the test so that we could begin to fix any plumbing leaks we might have.   We did have some leaks that were fixed.  After 5-6 months later we noticed that one of our doors on the side of the house where there was several piers was not shutting correctly.   Luckily we were waiting till the summer to fix the cracks due to the foundation because now they have to still come out and readjust some of the piers again.  I am concerned about our fixed plumbing but they have assured us they will not have to dig that deep.  I am confused as to why the piers were not adjusted right the first time."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, chemical drain cleaners contain sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, both of which are not only dangerous to your health but also extremely caustic. Drain cleaners will corrode your pipes and could lead to destroyed drain lines, especially if the chemicals interact with the piping for long periods. Unfortunately, this extended interaction is likely if you’re dealing with a clog, as the drain cleaner will have just as much trouble as water does moving through your plumbing system.

Yes, flushing a clogged toilet can make it overflow. While flushing the toilet may push enough pressure through the system to dislodge the clog, this is unlikely. Your best bet is to use a plunger and hope the suction can break up whatever is blocking the pipe. If this doesn’t work, use a plumbing auger or call a pro to help.

There are several common signs that your main sewer line may be clogged. Key indicators include multiple fixtures in your home draining slowly, gurgling sounds coming from drains or toilets, and water backing up into showers, sinks, or toilets. You might also notice water backing up from the plumbing system's drain cleanout, water in your basement drain, or unexplained wet patches on your lawn. Foul odors, such as the smell of raw sewage or rotten eggs, are another common symptom. The most reliable way to confirm a main sewer line clog is to hire a professional plumber to perform a camera inspection.

Start by pouring hot—but not boiling—water down the drain. The heat of the water may be enough to break down the clog. You can also try ½ cup of dish soap or 1 cup each of white vinegar and baking soda. If you choose a chemical unclogging product, ensure it’s appropriate for toilets to avoid damage.

Regrading your yard can often fix drainage problems. You can also try aerating the lawn to encourage better drainage or install a new drainage system to prevent water from pooling in certain areas.
