Description of Work: The personnel they have in their retail operations are very knowledgeable and helpful. Their pricing for chemicals are pretty much in line with their competition however, pricing for anything else is extremely high compared to their competition and particularly compared to whats available on line. One encounter I had with their service department was not good. Was quoted $150 to have some work done but was invoiced $495. When I talked with their comptroller, I was told the estimate was wrong and he explained the reasoning for it which I understood. He would not budge from their pricing of $495. Had I beed quoted that in the first place, I would have delayed the work. They do very good work, but I suggest getting a written estimate prior to the commencement of any work

Description of Work: I have used this company before and although the prices were kind of high, they always did a good job once they finally got out to the house. I called about a week ago and scheduled an appointment for today. When no service person called by 11am, I called to see what time they'd be by and they said they had no record of a service being scheduled. I called them myself last Tuesday. They offered to come by next Monday but I've had a leak since last Tuesday. And besides, they couldn't assure me that the same thing wouldn't happen next week. If I'm going to pay top dollar for pool repairs, I want professionalism and punctuality.

+ -1 moreWhen I was trying to schedule the work, it was very difficult because of their schedules. The workers were very nice and they did a good job on the work though. After it was done, there were just a couple things that needed to still be fixed. It was very difficult to get them scheduled to come out and do the work. They did come eventually a few weeks later.
Description of Work: I have a 25,000 gallon pool that needed to be re-plastered. They did this for me.

+ -1 moreThese people are very grumpy. I did not like the work that they did and I did not like the fact that I needed to exchange something. When I called the guy he was so rude. They refused to exchange anything. I think because they got their money, they really didn t need me anymore. I will never use them again, the only reason I called them in the first place is because they are the only ones around.
Description of Work: I called Tex Sun two times in the past month. One time I called them to re-plaster as well. The second time was just to edge it again.

+ -1 moreWe've used them about five times over the past year, and are very pleased with them. They're always polite and helpful and we consider them good people. We buy chemicals there to clean our pool as well, and they're always very helpful.
Description of Work: We bought our pool water there to have it tested and they've also replaced equipment.

+ -1 moreI am satisfied with everything. I do not know much about running a pool, but these guys sure do. My pool is always clear and free of any harmful scents. I used to pour bleach in my pool until Tex told me how dangerous that could be. I am so glad that I found these guys. They are very nice and very trustworthy. I feel comfortable allowing them to come even if I am not home.
Description of Work: My pool tends to get a little dirty and cloudy from lack of chemicals. I call Tex Sun to come out and keep the pool maintained.

+ -1 moreThe pump on our pool went out, and we were not aware of it. We called the company to come out, service the pool, and let us know what needed done. They got the pump replaced pronto, and it works to perfection. The pricing was great, and we use them for all our maintenance now. They are great to talk to, and always efficient when completing a task.

+ -1 moreTex Sun pools are very efficient and professional people who I use for any repair needs to my pool thought the summer. Tex Sun also comes to do my yearly maintenance; they get everything cleaned up and ready to go. The men check out everything to make sure it is secure and working properly and free of any debris. Tex Sun has been my pool company for years and I will continue to use them, as they are easy to deal with and do great work.
Description of Work: Tex Sun Pool Service & Supply comes whenever I call them for pool service, and I also use them once a year to do the cleaning and maintenance.

+ -1 moreI had the pool guy come by and give me an estimate to repair the pump on my swimming pool. It was a good price, and he showed up on time and replaced the pump. He did an excellent job, was considerate, and very professional. I would highly recommend him to other people.

+ -1 moreOur filtering system had a faulty part and was not operating properly. Tex Sun replaced the part in a very short period of time without making the pool dirty. Service was prompt, as they came soon after we contacted them. The cost was minimal and they're always friendly to us.

+ -1 moreI am pretty satisfied with the company. I have been using them for quite sometime, and I never really had any problems. I recall one time the chemicals were too strong, but Tex came back the same day and took care of it. That did not bother me enough to say I would not use them again, as everyone makes mistakes.
